Dear Seth - thank you very much for this service. Also to Toshiya-san for her work. Very grateful!
I wasn't sure what I was looking for (had to google what Diacritics meant!) but once I watched your video I knew this video was what I needed.

This method doesn't work in the latest Catalina. The keyboard layout remains invisible in the 'Others' tab despite the successful and troublesome move of the file (had to switch off SIP in the recovery mode, and use Terminal to move the file as root).

I'm really not sure Paula. I know others have had trouble with recent OS updates. Hope you can figure it out!

    Hi
I done installation per your instructions, However when I tried testing it I am getting the output not as shown in the keyboard when I am using a word document or text file in mac. Example if am typing Om I am getting O with a slash across followed by m and when I type option +7 I am not getting ॐ I am getting a paragraph marker. It works in this editor as I am typing this message. I guess I need to set some something in word as well. Don't where...any idea. By the way excllent step by step video.

Paula is right, it didn't work on my laptop too. Any other simple methods to use Sanskrit diacritics?

Thank you for this informative video! Would you have a way to install a font or software for sanskrit font with diacritics?

Around 3:27 I show how to install fonts. Really easy just drag and drop into the Fonts app. For a PC though I'm not so sure.

Thank you for your clear video and generous offering. I have been able to follow your instructions with ease, but end up with an unusable keyboard at the end. I'm on Mac OSX Monterey, so it looks like I have some research ahead of me....

I think you need more applications in your dock. All jokes aside, I've been trying to figure out why it isn't allowing me to make changes to anything in my Library folder. I've even enabled the root user to try to change permissions, but the root user doesn't have permissions to add a keyboard layout and I'm totally confused.

😂 yes I think I've added more apps since then. Hmm I'm not sure what the trouble is. Unfortunately every time Apple updates the OS there are new challenges introduced--making it hard to troubleshoot across OS updates. Hope you can figure it out!

I've been looking for this Keyboard Layout for such a long time. I was using the "replace with" keyboard setting to use diacritic characters like typing "nnn" will convert it to "ṇ". It works really well but I think using this keyboard layout is better ;-) Thanks again Seth!

Was so excited to see this. However, sadly the EasyUnicode doesn't download successfully for me. I get the ZIP file, but the files don't open to anything. I'm on Monterey operating system. I can't find it available elsewhere to download that works either. :(
