Do you know if i quit selling on ebay what i would have to pay them? They aren,t letting my page be seen. Its been a week since i,ve had a sale. My things are not visible. This happens often. Just going to bring this to an end. I probably have 2000 items listed minimally. Are they going to ask for money on things that have not sold? I pay $21.99 a month,but i,m not being seen as of right now. I used a friends phone,and we couldn,t find any of my things.

Where do you compare your computed monthly FVF total? Do you use the ebay statement amount or the invoice amount?

Hey I just started selling on eBay yesterday and sold two items can you help me with this question please!!
Below is a mock scenario:
Let's say I sold a knife on eBay for
Listing price:$100
Shipping:$10
Tax:$10
Total:$120
EBay will charge me 12.9% on $120 I Believe.
12.9% of $120 is exactly $15.48
So let's say $15.48 is the fee eBay is going to charge me for that knife I sold...
1.) Will eBay subtract $15.48 from the total of $120?
2.) Or only listing price plus shipping which was $100 list +$10 shipping = $110-$15.48
I feel like it is going to be number 2.)

Hey you know I love you, but, 6% of $25 is $1.50. 5% is $1.25.
Also in some states you don't have to pay sales tax on shipping if the price of shipping is listed separately.
Finally, although your reasoning for eBay taking a cut of shipping makes sense, it's really scummy of eBay to take a percentage of sales tax. I mean that's not really something the seller can adjust for. I mean you can adjust your shipping cost to take into consideration that eBay is going to take a cut of it. You can't do the same with sales tax and it isn't coming from the sales tax it's coming straight from the seller.

Ebay does not have a calculator that I am aware of, but once a buyer pays you can view the transaction on your payments page under your account settings and ebay shows you the amount they took out for the final value fee. Thanks for the questions!
