Even though I havent played any of the new tracks yet, Yoshi's Island seems like an obvious winner to me. It looks so colorful, fun, and full of little easter eggs. Also I really like the implementation of the question cloud, since in the yoshi games, clouds cannot only give you flowers, but can unlock paths, both of which are represented here. Great video Ace!
I kinda missed out on the timing for making a ranking video for waves 2 and 3. But if people want to see my thoughts on them I could put some videos together!
Thanks for the cloud hint on Yoshi's island. So far I really only like Sydney in the tour races. I don't mind any of them. I like every race in Mario Kart except Dry Bone Dunes or what ever it's called. That race sucks. So I like all the Tour tracks they're just not much in the old MKE. They're real places... that's kinda... lame. See ya Ace.
Yeah the cloud at the end of Yoshi’s really adds to the experience. And I get what you mean by the Tour tracks, they kinda take away from the magic that is Mario Kart by being real places.
I was a bit disappointed in how DK snowboard pass looks on switch since I have a great nostalgic connection to Wii tracks in general. It's definitely a me thing though and I probably would have rated in 3/5 in visuals because it's not bad just kind of disappointing
I get that! To me it is such a great idea for a track, but it falls a bit short in its implementation. A good track visually, but I was hoping for more
