You can have Tereré. It's not just a Paraguayan thing, it's also done in Uruguay, Brazil and Argentina. It's great with very cold water and herbs. It's also nice with grapefruit juice. Clight Pomelo Rosado is the best one but you can try other flavors. You should show all the Jacaranda and Tipá flowers in the parks and also go to Av. Melian. It's prime to go there right now with all the tipá flowers. Don't wait because then they are gone. Go this weekend.

A tip: Some areas of BA: Retiro, Puerto Madero, and around the Ecological Reserve, etc are not so hot even in the Summer. On the contrary, Palermo and around there is quite hot in the summer.

10:40 Tereré Is "cold mate". In Argentina we do with juice. Not just cold water like Paraguay. AND the cup is not the same as the mate. In tereré we use a aluminium, glass. Not porongo, or that kind of traditional mate. 1- cold water /cold juice (I use Tang banana AND Orange or multifruta) 2- in aluminium or glass cup, first you might put sugar inside, then yerba mate, then ice. At the end the 1. In paraguay the use water with yerba mate and some types of herbs too. Gengibre etc. Cold mate cocido is the same as paraguayan tereré

Yes! As the other subscriber mentioned, you have to cure the Mate for the first time before you use it. The process is very simple, you must fill it with yerba mate already used (meaning you just finished drinking mate -in another cup-) and then you have to put that humid yerba inside the new mate cup and leave it there for about 24/48 hs. After that you throw the yerba in the trash bin, wash the cup and then you can start using it Of course it's not something mandatory, but it allows the mate cup to get its "useful life" prolonged. I personally don't like those Mate Tererés with orange juice but many people say they're really good. Enjoy!
I was not watching my phone and heard "Today my cat went to the BED for the first time..." and i was like..."wait what?!", and then your cat was on the bed...i was just so confused!!! Poor cat!! 😂😅
I was thinking about getting the stainless steel one but that I liked the style of the one I got but in hindsight maybe it would have been more easier 😅

@ that’s fantastic, 200k would have been a lot more reasonable but not 300k
I'm not really a big mate person either; I only drink it when I'm with friends. 😂
I was not watching my phone and heard "Today my cat went to the BED for the first time..." and i was like..."wait what?!", and then your cat was on the bed...i was just so confused!!! Poor cat!! 😂😅
I’m from BA, live in California, and find these videos somewhat enjoying. Sorry 😅
Cold mate it's called terere
It's from Paraguay
Gracias!!
La thumbnail dice "abroad in Buenos Aires".
Why did she move to Buenos Aires?

Hello ! 🙋 Chanel ☺. 🌹
🥰
Hola Chanel! Trabajás en educación?
Sí:)
Those types of mates need to be curated in a very specific way! I ruined one because of this :(
I was thinking about getting the stainless steel one but that I liked the style of the one I got but in hindsight maybe it would have been more easier 😅
@@chanelmeyerr It's beautiful, even if you don't use it, it's still a good purchase IMHO.
😂😂
is it possible that you were looking for the word: "manteros"? Yeah, it was really bad for cleanliness, respect of the public space, illegal products were sold (knock offs). And...cold mate=terere (when I was a kid only paraguayos will drink it).
, ¿porque amas la Argentina?
Capital federal no es "buenos aires" y buenos aires no es" argentina ".
I need a girlfriend like u❤
Toma me caliente gringa ..te acostumbradas😏😘
