It's not just dua lipa! Actually, Argentina is considered by many artists and bands as "the best audience in the world". We are very passionate about concerts and music in general, so every time any artist comes to play for us we scream and sing our hearts out. If you ever go to another concert here, you'll see!

People in Argentina love concerts! Coldplay came here 2 weeks ago and it was a total success. They performed 10 consecutive shows with full capacity (60.000 people).
I think that the main reason is how passionate people are.

I was raised in Buenos Aires but moved to Florida, U.S. a couple months ago and I really felt the difference in so many ways. The people, the non city life, lack of transportation here. So many things that Argentinians themselves don’t notice they do have.
Most of the Argentinians complain about what they don’t have (of course they are right in many of them) but for me personally, I learned to appreciate my Buenos Aires a lot more❤️

Well, London isnt exactly the safest place in Europe maybe thats why. I didnt feel safe at all in Quito, Lima, Santiago de Chile and Bs Aires. I mean yeah it is safer than other countries in south and central america, but that safer meaning pickpockets wont stab you to death for 5€ or a cell phone, they'll just be nice enough to let you live, in most cases.

The thing I liked most about Argentina was how incredible kind everyone was. People were always coming forward to help whether we were on a city bus, in a buffet line or just trying to purchase something in a store. One gal gave me her private phone number so I could call her if we had any problems. The owner of one the AirBnB's we stayed at actually offered for us to stay in his private home when we were unable to find a room when we came back to Ushuaia.

You really did hit a lot of essential points of the country that aren't that talked about generally, and tbh you made me appreciate my own country so much more. I personally believe that the reason why the country and the people are so welcoming is not only because people are predisposed to acting that way, but also because your willingness to inmerse yourself in the culture shows through. I'm really glad you're enjoying your time here, and I wish you the best. Ps I am really excited for you to experience the world cup, it really is just something else here.

As a vegetarian porteña who mostly eats vegan (cuz lactose intolerance) I energetically recommend you to try some of this places ✨
    - Buenos Aires Verde (Palermo): Is an amazing restaurant, probably the best when it comes to veggie - tasty - tru healthy food balance.
    - Gordo vegano (Belgrano): This place is not just aesthetic, but also tasty and abundant food
    - Ainara (Palermo): Classic argentinian ice cream shop, but 100% vegan
    - Guerrin (San Nicolas/Obelisco): This is not a veggie resto, but the most iconic argentinian pizza place, and they have 2 vegan options!! (vegan margarita is a must)
-And I could go on, but last, if you want to try classic argentinian empanadas (as you probably know, the classic ones are made of meat, but there's tasty vegan alternatives!), Futuro veggie (Recoleta) or Gordo vegano (Belgrano) are the two places to go.
I love seeing you are really enjoying buenos aires and have now a very accurate view about it ✨💖
PD: yes, the world cup is going to be a crazy moment, specially on Argentina games, there's going to be no one at the streets, because everyone, even people who normally don’t care that much about soccer will be seeing or hearing the game

It was interesting to see that for you, the experience was almost the complete opposite to locals I know and I literally laughed at the safety part, the high end places are probably fine but as soon as you get out of there, you can't pay me enough to go out and walk around at night alone, specially outside of Capital.

There are lots of preconceived ideas and prejudice when it comes to visiting South America overall, and getting to see you exploring a bit of Argentina surely helps people get a glimpse of what South America is actually like. 1. Peña la morena (Recoleta) people just go there with their guitars and start playing argentine folklore music.
    2. Jardin botanico thays (Palermo) has beautiful gardens and is really peaceful.
    3. Circulo militar (Retiro) there is a reataurant there call Croque Madam that has great food and you get to see beautiful gardens and the architecture is amazing.
    4. Teahouse tealosophy (Palermo) it is really pretty and if you like tea they are the best teas in Argentina.
    5. You should go to a wine testing, there are a lot of options I like Wining (Palermo).
    6. Parque chas. Beautiful small neighborhood.
    7. You have to go to the abierto de polo de Palermo, and whatch some argentine polo. The polo season started this month so you should get tickets as soon as possible.

    • @itwillend
      @itwillend ปีที่แล้ว +9
