Lone Wolf Yeah sometimes for me it happens when I’m completely convinced that a demon or dark entity is watching me. I sweat, I breathe heavy, I try to tell myself that no one is there but I just can’t convince myself. Sometimes I wake with a start after having a dream about emergency alerts on TV or even PSAs because they scare me. The loud noises and people dying or getting hurt terrifies me to the point where I get attacks just thinking about them before bed. Sorry for the long reply omg I probably sound like a wuss but it’s all true.

Mine is kind of different. I don't hear silence all the time. I mostly hear myself telling me that I'm basically worthless and then other people voices say it as well (close people) and I can always feel people watching me, even if I'm completely alone I still feel someone watching me. I also start shaking every now and then and I've also got a small skin condition that makes my skin kinda look like scales so I almost always have like a hoodie to cover my arms and hands. Every time I walk into a room I look for exits just in case. And whatever I'm wearing, I can always feel someone judging me for what I'm wearing. I always think my music is too loud in my headphones so I turn it down to where I can almost not hear it. When I'm nervous/anxious I usually mess with the sleeve of my hoodie, my jeans, or my shorts. And I also spin like a pencil or pen if I've got one. I'll never be the first one to open food if it's in a package and I'll never be the last to finish it(still don't know why). I'm always observing everything, anything anybody does I will see what they're doing. Even if it's just small stuff but for some reason I just need to know what people are doing around me. I always try to opt out of doing anything in front of a crowd, large or small. But basically the breathing and heartbeat and constantly looking around was the only thing similar to mine.

Take it from someone with actual anxiety disorder. This is pretty accurate. It’s that constant feeling of having an elephant sitting on your chest. And your senses become so overactive and sensitive that it makes your brain rattle. And you worry about every little thing. Like if someone you care about was to leave your house or their house you worry that they will get hit by a car or murdered in some way. And then you hate yourself for being so worried about them. Anxiety is very hard to live with. But not impossible

Whenever I leave my house I feel as if someone is watching me. It gets worse if I’m left alone, even if I’m in my own house. If I don’t have someone with me I start getting paranoid and look around every 10 seconds. If I’m in my room I always feel like someone is in my closet waiting to murder me. Different places make me feel different but there is always someone trying to kill me or just watching me. I don’t know it’s of anxiety or what but I know i shouldn’t feel that way when it’s over

I know that feeling but I already have it since I’m a kid so it doesn’t trigger me THAT much anymore. I also don’t always feel like someone is about to murder me, but I think someone is watching. When I’m at home in for example the bathroom, I always think there is someone “in“ the wall, which makes obviously no sense but it’s always the same place and in the bathroom im also watched by someone for a different reason, as if I am in my room or any other place. So everywhere a different reason and stuff u know.

As someone who has been diagnosed with severe anxiety it’s so awful sometimes, I hear one noise at night and can’t move for hours, I feel everyone is out to get me and constantly get feelings of dread just from everyday tasks, I analyze every single detail of everything, my mind is constantly whirring. I hyper focus on things and it feels like I see and hear everything that’s going on around me like an overload of panic based on things that COULD go wrong. Sometimes I find myself planning every possible solution to any situation that could happen to me. It’s exhausting and it’s so normalized and played down in society

SG, Reduce negative thoughts with a simple practice. Your breath is directly related to your mind [brain] causing negative thoughts-anxiety. For a relaxed life sit on a chair, back straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for around 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. Slowly the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Day or night, when taking a walk, when reading, on the phone, before sleep etc sit or lie down and observe your breath. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a good life. Avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes Shyaaam Sir. -Counsellor.

Most people are scared of the dark so why would they sit in it. It's like my little protective bubble.

Read More: Wow, that was a bit of an asshole thing to say. Just because someone isn't clinically diagnosed with something doesn't mean they don't suffer from difficult or debilitating symptoms. Just like depression, anxiety is experienced differently from one person to the next.

    • @LittleWing1985

Not everyone's symptoms are the same for any mental disorder. With that mindset, that's ignorant. Mine are more brought on my worry. Dealing with emotional, physical abuse from everyone all my life, I'm always on edge and on the lookout for people trying to bully me or if I fail at something, it's a tragic thing because failing or messing up in any way wasn't an option growing up. Because it meant beatings, mean things said to me, and bullying.

I felt like the person in the POV was constantly staring at corners and "closed" spots which make you feel like your sight is restrained (you can't see any wider than a spot), and this caused a sensation that anything could be around you and something was going to happen. Is that what it was supposed to convey?

      Gihad Soares
For me,it makes my chest tighten up,like something is pushing it in. My stomach knots up,and I can't eat. I think people are out to get me when in out walking around, and I look around every corner and street as I walk. I get shaky, sometimes to the point where I can't even take a sip of water without making a mess. I get berry irritable, and it makes my deppresion worse. Anxiety is constant fear for your life, everyone experiences it differently. You will even question your own loved ones, even someone you've been with for years. Mix on some ptsd, tourettes, adhd, and depression, and you have a cocktail of a whole different world. It's berry difficult, especially when your expected to work under these conditions, and be with the norm of aociety, and wondering why everyone is judging you, even though no one really is. It's a ball of crazy that I would never wish on my worst enemy. I hope this answered your qeustion?

It gets worse when I had to move back to my parent's place. Being strictly religious they are, I have to do all of the religious obligations no matter how bad I feel with my body. So for example, every morning around 6am I had to wake up to pray. Around that time my body would feel off and my brain just be foggy. It doesn't matter to me parents. Pray is pray. How ironic that I pray for this to go away but it's prayer times that makes my anxiety to shoot up.

Tarun, Reduce negative thoughts with a simple practice. -Counsellor.

i have overcame anxiety & depression 4 years ago. however, the other night, i was home alone and had a great day (i went out with my friend and saw a movie, went to a cute cafe). i was extremely tired since i woke up pretty early but it was around 9pm and i was already very sleepy. so i wanted to sleep, i closed my eyes then i suddenly felt a presence. as if somebody was staring at me or coming to me. the thing is ive always been home alone multiple of times and ive never been scared, not even once, but that time it was different. it happened 3 times straight every time i tried to close my eyes. i became terrified, but i finally fell asleep, for only ONE minute into deep sleep when suddenly my eyes were lit up again out of a sudden as if someone just woke me up. i hugged myself and could feel the sudden headache, chest pain, heavy breathing, terrified, unsecured & insecure. from there i know anxiety was attacking me after 4 years, it was the worst feeling ever i didnt know what to do so i suddenly cried and told my friends about it. i wanted to call one of my friends to call me to be with me, but even that made me think thousands of times and i had so many doubts & what ifs. i was alone with my own thoughths and anxiety for 4 hours straight. i wanted to study since my exam was coming up but nothing worked out. it fucking sucks i hate it SO much.

Crying uncontrollably, but trying to hold back the tears so no one sees. Sometimes, I try to grab onto the walls or tables to prevent myself from falling over. At my absolute worse, I see things in my peripheral vision that aren't there, and I have to wait for the attack to be over before they go away.

This video is spot on, I also get “noise” induced anxiety. So sounds like Emergency Alerts, babies crying, yelling, loud car engines , motorcycles, “raising noises” such as airplane engines or sounds effects in dub step and electronic music all give me panic attacks. The first thing I want to do when I hear the sounds are run away as fast as I can lol. It’s hard to deal with especially when your friends and family don’t understand it or think you are over reacting.

Even when I don't have an attack I'm always aware of my heartbeat, and the fuzzy vision is so accurate. Anxiety sucks, and some people are just like "oh, get over it" or "we all feel anxious sometimes" and I hate that so much, because it's not just feeling anxious, it's feeling like everything around you and every situation puts your life at risk and you don't know what the hell to do
