Patty what a Blessing you are.💕💕💕 OMGosh I was going to ask this past week but there was those internet issues, if you could use Clapman's wax on non food projects and voila you answered it.     Thank you for this. It was very helpful. However, I have heard from many other stencilers that if you use a brush-on sealer it causes your paint to smear. So it’s better to use a spray first and then use a brush-on. Do you have any thoughts on that?

      We have not experienced the paint smearing. It may depend on what type of paint you use. We use acrylic paint and make sure to let it dry completely before varnishing.

    Good morning, I varnished with a sponge and have streaks. How can I fix that?

      You'll want to make sure your sponge is damp when you start. Like get it wet, then step on it to get excess water out of it. You can try going back over it one more time. Or you may need to sand it and revarnish.

      @StudioR12Stencils , my sponge is damp. I tried with way more varnish and have less streaks. Can I just go over the dull areas, or do I always have to do the entire surface?
