Lucas did live NCT by choice but it was still because of the love he has for his members… See, mid 2021, a sasaeng made up things to ruin his reputation which made him go through a hiatus and then officially leave NCT in may 2023. We (fans) were waiting for informations from SM Entertainment since he remained there and we were served a month ago with a 2 parts documentary (each part named freeze and unfreeze) showing us a new Lucas (kind of the opposite of the one in the video). The first part (freeze) was about how he's been feeling since the whole controversy happened, and as a fan it was so that to see him like that since he used to be one of the happy viruses of NCT… in the documentary, he explained that he decided to leave NCT so that he wouldn't involve his members into the whole thing and that he was disappointed in himself because he felt like he let them down. The second part was about a him begining a new chapter of his life, and entering a new era as a solo artist and he just did!! He debuted as a soloist 3 days with the title track "Renegade", which is kind of a diss track for the haters and the sasaengs, that you guys HAVE to check out (there are 2 MVs) . I am so glad he came back and I hope he will go back to be as confident as he was in that guide💚 (Anyways, I'm sorry if there are some spelling mistakes, English isn't my first language 🥲)
