Love the heritage unit, hate the non horn zone! We have an area north of Cincinnati Ohio; Glendale Ohio that stopped allowing trains to blow their horns a few years ago. All because the former mayor lived close and disliked it.I AM IN TOTAL AGREEMENT WITH YOU🙏🔥👍Safety should be #1. Trains mean horns, don’t like them then move or don’t purchase property near train tracks.
What is so hypocritical is DC and some surrounding areas are pushing for no right turn on red in name of safety, but are blind to a Glaring safety problem.
There was an accident I think at that intersection a couple of months ago due to signal not working properly after a T storm, train comes around curve less than 1/4mi away when WB. It held up 3194 behind it and I missed seeing I again cause of the delay
@@davidmaust1415 I hear ya. I am very big on safety. So many people will toss safety aside in the name of them being personally comfortable. They fail to realize that their decisions can and do cause negative effects to others and even death when it comes to railroad crossings. You never can be too safe around trains. It is a great spot to watch trains, but no horn is depressing especially when a great heritage unit is leading
Town should be held partially liable if a vehicle is hit especially if signals aren't working. Trains have been running through there for 150 years
