I love how you always provide options on how to work knee after TKR. I have used various of your suggestions since my surgery in Sept. much appreciated.

What about weight training after a total knee replacement surgery? Dos and don’ts

I am a huge fan of strength training. We need both strength and endurance. I will record some new content on this soon.

Now is there a modest full recumbent that is capable of doing exactly what you described here with limited flexion and extension and until you can progress? Thanks

Would a stationary bike be a better choice for prehab and after surgery vs this small peddle pusher?

Yes. A stationary bike is better than this, and elliptical is better than a stationary bike.
Everyone is so different it really depends on your fitness level.

Tony I can not go any further on my peddler bike. My ROM is now after 5 months 125 or so. I need gain more. Should I join the gym? I saw my doc yesterday Dec 7th, he told me it takes 1or2 yrs to get total normal after TKR. I am thinking of getting the other knee done in 5-6 months from now. Is it wise? Doc did not see as yet my right knee is ready for the surgery.

First I hope you are celebrating your achievement!!! 125 is outstanding and considered full range of motion for most. I don't usually have videos for anything beyond 125 because either the implant isn't designed for more or nobody actually asks for more. Let me see what I can do.

@@totaltherapysolutions thank you Tony. Made a mistake I am 120, not 125. Working towards it. Going for deep tissue massage once a week. My therapist trying to help to gain more flexibility. As in the morning knee is stiff. Thinking of joining the gym. To have access to bicycle. Still foot peddler helps a lot.
