Maybe Boyd is Martin, he was the only one that had the worms that could kill the monsters that was given to him by Martin. As for time loop I agree because if you look at the motel sign it says pool and pool backwards is loop, just a theory.
I think it's likely that it's a storyline they have to follow. There are a bunch of different events in the series that suggest they are playing out a specific story. In episode 8 it says that someone read the murdered children a story so this could be a manifestation of that story (the cicadas weren't a thing in town until Sarah's brother who was afraid of them died so another example of dead people manifesting things) and they bring protagonists to the town to try and complete the story so they can be free. I think fate is what controls the events in fromville (Jade mentions fate to Tabby in ep7 or 8) but certain things like boyd killing Smiley was not supposed to happen because i think it was Victor who said noone has ever killed one of the monsters before. I think boyd or someone else who can time travel (probably Randall) was actually supposed to take Martins place there but the people who are currently in the town are disturbing the normal sequence of events. (Possibly the sequence that the man over the radio and the person on the telephone who spoke to Ethan has planned out as a way to make sure the children are never freed.
Actually, he got the rope, he reached Martin and caused Julie, Randall, and Marielle trauma and dream of dying; only after that did he come back to solve it.
That area actually exists on, in a higher dimensional plane where past present and future exist together but we as 3 dimensional beings can only perceive one time state at a time which gives the impression of time travel, but past present and future exists together in that area of Fromville.
Awesome breakdown and theory man. One of these must be the case or at least come close. Biggest thing for me too is why Martin didn’t know Boyd’s name but knew Julie’s and Abby’s. Lots of stuff going on
Good theories. I think Boyd being in the well was a mistake. A new event in the cycle. If you watch season one, the Boy In White tells SARAH to go through the Farway Tree- but she instead had Boyd go through because he was hurting. I think that. and the addition of Henry to the cycle and his interactions with Jim might break the cycle- because they never had two "Jim" position people in town- or never two at the same time, anyway. There wasn't one in the prior timeline where Miranda and her kids came to town without Henry.
What about the scar on the face? Also Martin is someone who interacted with both Julie and Boyd's wife but not Boyd (knew who he was by name only), Randal never interacted with Boyd's wife and knows Boyd by face.

The only theory that makes sense is my theory... EVERYTHING we see in this show is Miranda & Henry's acid trip.
Acid trip can make a whole story with all of these characters?!!!!
Lol. I don't agree, but DANG IT, I LIKE IT!!!!! ❤❤❤
@DOOMSLAYER2K24 That would be a cop out of the highest order that trope has been done to death starting with the wizard of oz.

Martin might be like the monsters- telepathically or somehow intuitively knowing everything about the townsfolk.
Oh I love a good chart, can’t wait to check this out.
If Julie and Randall went by themselves then they’d be stuck in there

Also Victor already drew Boyd in the well so we can assume that Victor never threw the rope.
Didnt boyd have the bottle tree slip from 1868 ?
Then how did he hear Martin?
My theory -
.
.
.
And then little boy victor got up from a dream to get ready for his school🎉
Yhh Randall is Martin
Because Martin said the monsters tied him there without killing
Randall is the only person the monsters tortured without killing
They've also tied Boyd up without killing him.
What about the scar on the face? Also Martin is someone who interacted with both Julie and Boyd's wife but not Boyd (knew who he was by name only), Randal never interacted with Boyd's wife and knows Boyd by face.
I like the Randall/Martin connection
Martin is Ethan😂😂😂😂😂😂
If Martin was Randall he would have just told Julie things.
Wow!! Was that a flowchart??? First Fromflow...
Great research and evidence backing up what you are saying…
Martin is Rendall because Rendall see Cicada
I think Sarah was suppose to be stuck in the well, not Boyd.
I don't think so. There's a drawing of Boyd in the well so I believe it was meant to happen
What season was this ?@@levilama
I think Martin is the last name and Randall is the first.
And his name would be Randall not Martin😂
Exactly, how did he know her name???
He knew Boyd and his dead wife Abbie’s names too… he must be some kind of entity or higher dimensional being?
Not that weird. The monsters say "we know all your names" to Julie and some girl that is killed early on in s1
@@cityslickerchickens5835 he didn't know Boyd's name

More questions again and no real answers, again.
All of this cool… but WHY
Shows gettimg stupid asif she didnt know boyds voice. Getting to point where a dragon c0uld fly in and no 1 would question it
