@claremaidofthewave251 hi Clare. Thank you so much for watching. Over the years of hiking in the hills the names stick. Well some do ....I often forget one or two 🤣
@emz_adventure I was following your route on my map. Made it halfway so far🙂. I've walked the other side of Cheviot plenty times but like these little through walks as well. Regards
Blimey you know those hills like the back of your hands. The colours are beautiful absolutely stunning. Lovely to see you and Rolo enjoying the great outdoors 😊 xx
Hi Emz. Enjoyed watching that. I'm staying in Alwinton later in the year and intend to walk Windy Gyle, Cushat Law & Bloodybush Edge. The latter two I am intending to go up through Kidland Forest to Cushat Law, over to Bloodybush Edge, then back down Clennel Street. Any tips?
@TonysTrails hi Tony. Thanks for watching. Alwinton is gorgeous. Make sure you pop into the rose and thistle. Doing windy gyle etc from alwinton is a great route. If you're doing cushat law and Bloodybush Edge you can do them from windy gyle if you go windy gyle then down clennel street to uswayford farm, cross the burn and behind the farm is a track which will take you upto bloodybush edge and then to cushat law. It's a canny Shank so make sure you have a full day. Or you could do windy gyle on another day. I did a video called cheviot round and the route from windy gyle is on there. Happy hiking
@ Cheers Emz. We’re staying at The Rose & Thistle. Doing Windy Gyle on its own from Wedder Leap: up via Murder Cleugh and down The Street. Thanks for the sub. Hope you enjoy our adventures.
