- Friday night i popped over the border for a hike in the dark wildcamp after work. Needing some peace and time on me todd, just what the doctor ordered.
Then after packing up and heading back down the valley I headed straight out again for a hike.
Starting at Kirk Yetholm I headed up Halterburn on the Pennine way. The wind picked up but didn't stop me as I hiked a gorgeous 9 miles up onto Corby crags via the Curr and then along Steer rig.
It doesn't matter about the weather. If in doubt just get out
Nice video Emz 🙂
Thank you 😊
Beautiful! I like Mr. Wardel too…🎅🏻He can build a mean Feast! 🦃
@jamiemorgan4146 evening Jamie. He can build a mean sandcastle too ya kna. Thanks for watching

😁👍 hi Emma. Good to see you out and about and taking us along for the hike 😁 definatley blew away the cobwebs . If your thinking of doing the AKW again nextyear, definatley space it out over 4 days, you'll see much more than last time and I found some cracking wildcamping spots along the way and a night in the bothy during that bloomin storm 🤣 I've finally received my firemaple 2p tent 👍 Great video I do like that area and should visit in 2025.. Well done for all them subs too 😁👍👍
@hikermikem8 hi Mike. Thanks for watching. Loved the AKW . It's a cracking trail isn't it. Hence why I'm going back. I just felt like I had my head down and pushed on. So definitely going to savour it when I go back. Thanks. Appreciate the advice and you watching
@emz_adventure no worries Emma 👍 you would definatley enjoy it a lit more if you take your time. Finding water along the way isn't an issue, but you'll have to take more food along for the second half if you do it from Dromadrochit or canoch 😁 Takecare emz x 👍
Good to see you out and about. Not surprised at how many subscibers you have. Lots of us enjoying the hills even when we cant be there.
@@dawnangelawalker morning Dawn. Thanks so much. Really appreciate you watching and continuing support
Nice one Emz/Rolo
😉🐾👍
@@jimmy.mccutcheon.1961 thanks jimmy
Nice video Em's, what I will say me Dear your knowledge of the Cheviot Hills is excellent! I bet Rolo had fun! 6 more weeks of retail madness then everyone is skint and things are back to normal! The Glen Afflick trail will be amazing next year a midgie net will be a welcome addition for those pesky midge! Have a great Xmas and Mr Wardle of course! Cheers Mark!
@markalanshaw4950 hi Mark. Thank you for your kind words. Getting closer to having a little free time and being able to be out more is certainly keeping me going. The affric kintail way is such a beautiful trail hence why I've chosen to go back. April was a good time as there was no midge at all. Probably the cold 😂. Thank you so much for watching and I hope you have a lovely Christmas. See you soon 😊
Hi Emma great video and it was brilliant to meet a you tube star.
If you happen to be near fort William any time soon a nice and easy 6:45 walk would be Druim na h-earba from Ben Nevis view point. Only 287m but a great view point on a nice day.
Hope you have a great Christmas and new year.
Tony.
@tonycurry2559 hey tony. Lovely to meet you too. It was a cracking day yesterday despite the wind and rain wasn't it. I'll defo have a look at that hike when I'm up there. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment. Have a very merry Christmas and enjoy your trip to Scotland 😊
Great video, a bit of a wild one. I’m hoping to have a change of scenery from the lakes next year and fancy visiting the Cheviots for a few camps. Really enjoyed the walk I did up The Cheviot last year via The Hen Hole. I may pester u for best places to park when I start planning. Keep up the good work 👍⛺️. Have a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2025 🎄
Hi Peter. Hope you're well. You should definitely come up to the cheviots. I think you'd like it. Really appreciate you watching. Merry Christmas and a very happy new year to you 😊
Great video beautiful part of the world. Nothing like being outdoors in nature to help chill after a busy week 😊.
Thanks so much for watching helena. It was a great weekend spent in the beautiful hills ❤
Smashing, Emz, getting out and doing what you do best. Work problems just melt away in those Hills, I find 👍
Evening Graham. Thanks for watching. It really does make it all melt away. quick as the snow went on cheviot this week 😊. So glad I went out for the weekend. Hope you're well and CONGRATULATIONS on your 1800 subs 🎉
