    That compressor is incredible! So upfront without sounding smaller, very special!

    That was really great. Thanks for putting this together. I can't hardly wait for the next time, whatever that entails.

    Sounds great. Thought that was a role of TP on top at first.

    This is my dream setup! RND is like the Bugatti of audio. One day!

    I can put that in my rest room and wake up every day looking these beauties. And yes, I´m talking about the NEVE stufffff!!!. Please sir, what kind of reverb are you using there for vocals?. Thank you so much!

    Since you also carry AMS Neve, I am curious how the AMS Neve 33609 diode compressor compares

    Really smooth. Wonder how it might compare to the portico master buss processor.

      Very different. Much less transparent.

    How does that he sound of the 5254 compare to the 535?

    Nice vid. Would really like to hear/see a more extreme example to hear exaturatted outcomes of the MBC though, for demo purposes. Trying to hear 0.5db of limiting through 1080p TH-cam with no normalizing compared to the original source is pretty impossible.

      Hey there! If you wanna hear some non-YT compressed examples, head over to our blog in the description. There are some Soundcloud links there without the knob twisting. Thanks for watching!

    I really like both units, my question is I just brought the MBP would it also make since to have the MBC?

      In my opinion, if you already have great converters, stick with what you already have. the MBP already has limiters and silk/transformer options. You can get the 5254 Dual Diode Bridge Compressor for a different flavor of compressors (maybe on drum stems, for example).

    I would be really interested to heat the RND converter for tracking, was that used ?

    • @focntt
      @focntt 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There's an Apollo there in the rack so I'm assuming that was the one used during tracking.

    Same compressor on shelford channels? Except the pre EQ and Link buttons on the strip.

    Can we afford them, though? If not, it's Waves , once again :(
