Honestly mechanically No Eye's patterns are wonderful. She can't see, so she makes her patterns go over the entire screen. You should giver her points for being blind and still being a boss that I've heard has messed up many speedruns
The first boss I ever saw was actually Soulmaster, my sister started to play it before me so thats maybe one of the reasons why Soulmaster/Soultyrant is one of my absolutely favorite bosses?

I died to Mantis Lords so many times in my first playthrough, and when I finally beat them, I was so happy. A few hours later and I had beaten them multiple times on radiant, there so quick but learning their movement set and beating it is so satisfying

Nightmare King is like one of this bosses where u will die very much until you defeat him for the first time. When you face him again, you will defeat him so easy because his moveset became so familiar to you from dying so often
I’d be careful with intros like the one you did. My first reaction was to click out when I saw the first two seconds. Fortunately I skipped forward a few seconds and saw the up in quality but I wouldn’t be surprised if people left due to that intro.

Sisters of Battle is my favorite boss, even dethroned Dung Defender. The flow of the battle and how they move in harmony throughout the fight just gets me riled up plus the music is badass
Sisters of battle was my favorite fight ever since I saw a TH-cam video about them. I literally climbed the up the the 5th pantheon just so I could unlock the fight.
I feel like most of the hate towards Markoth is because of the ascended and raidant versions, honestly attuned Markoth is pretty fun, not great, but especially for a dream warrior it's pretty good, probably my favorite besides Xero
ociNNico I think I speak for most when I say the main issue is the fact that his bullshit arena is in the pantheon of hallownest, and that he’s right at the end. I’ve beat the PoH, and I’d say I’m about 80% consistent on AbsRad, and I still can’t beat ascended markoth. For me, the most frustrating part is that there is no way of practicing the markoth you face in the pantheon (ascended arena without the double damage). Because the double damage just shredded me, the only way for me to properly practice markoth was by playing through the entire pantheon. It’s bullshit and it literally got closer to making me quit the Pantheon altogether than AbsRad did (and she took about 15 hours of practice to get consistent at).
Ascended Markoth is a really fun fight once you become familiar with him, but Radiant is straight bullshit. This is because there will occasionally be attacks that can't be avoided, so you have to be super careful. And once the second phase starts, the bullshit goes over 9000 as its very hard to even damage him. It took me 2.5hours to beat Radiant version, and even then, I got lucky. It could just as easily have taken 6 hours.
We forgot the Eternal Ordeal! XD the ultimate vote fight Hive knight screams YEET and the other thing about him is that he's fun, but in the pantheon it's annoying because it's so short but yet I always take like 1 dmg and for some reason it's always gonna make a difference
i am fine with the hollow knight being easy, it is so deep in lore and its the end boss so you basically just want to see the credits role while thinking of your prediges skill and lightning quick learning of the patterns

@@linushallgren4156 don't get me wrong I still absolutely love the game a lot :p I just got to the radiance fight today and did 4 tries before having to get off, so far it's super difficult and I love it a lot (also upgraded my nail lol) edit: Just beat radiance too, it's such a good fight man. My fav part of it has to be the fact that you don't take damage from it's own hitbox, I wish more bosses did that
Pure Vessel is number 1? I mean he definitely is one of the hardest bosses I've ever fought. Took me 500+ tries... but I wouldn't say he is number one. I would still rank him high but probably not over hollow knight cause he is way too hard. He would still be insanely hard even if he did one mask damage. NKG is probably my favorite hard boss and would be my number 1 however I tend to enjoy more of the easier bosses overall. Crystal guardian, false knight, mantis lords, and hornet would rank highly on my list.
Pure vessel is hard because of the double damage, but difficulty does not make a fight bad for me. It's about fairness, most of all. All of Pure vessel's attacks are fair, but still require very high reflex skills and memorization of his moveset. Particularly the black tendrils catch me off guard every time, and the sword pillars can get a hit in now and again. Pure vessel is everything that I like about difficult fights (I haven't fought NKG yet, I went for the "end the ritual" ending to that dlc), even if it took me several hours to try and beat him.
My favorite boss is hive knight. I love the idea of a knighted bee, his music is (in my opinion) one of the best in the entire soundtrack, and while the fight is a bit too easy for where it is in the game, it's really fun.
When I fought troupe master Grimm, he felt like the one of the most difficult boss in the game, but eventually I beat him. Then when I fought nightmare king Grimm, it felt impossible, skip forward 5 hours of failed attempts and I finally beat nkg. The next day I attempt pantheon of the sage, halfway through I run into troupe master Grimm, and with my skills fresh of nkg I stomp him into the dirt with minimal effort and think, “was it always that easy?”
You learned his moveset, and your brain memorized the timings, your reflexes react accordingly. For instance, after the Pure Vessel fight, which I seriously struggled with for hours, I actually can't fight him ever again by jumping. I always instinctively dash through his attacks, as that's the method that my brain found easiest. (Shadow dash always resets just in time for his next attack, which is an example of great design) At the same time, fighting him for so long made me significantly worse at other boss fights in the Pantheon. It's all about the fact that your brain gets used to certain patterns and forgets about other types of patterns. After fighting the other bosses in the pantheon, I suddenly get bad again at fighting Pure Vessel.
Failed Champ is a great fight. Also Absolute Radiance is amazing. I feel like a lot of people don't like these bosses because they're hard. Take the time to learn them, and they are fun.
I'm extremely split on absolute radiance. It is kinda RNG based even when you get extremely good at it, but it and the Pantheon of Hallownest is the only boss in any game that's really pushed me to my limits, to take advantage of everything in the game and throw it at one boss, and I appreciate it for that.
Honestly fluke milf was a massive disappointment one attack, free soul and one hit minion kill as soon as you get a pale ore this also applies to the collector but at least the collector was dynamic and had charm
I love absolute radiance. Its so satisfying to dodge her attacks and she is so intimidating. I think she is better than the radiance because the radiance was a bit too easy for a final boss.
Soul tyrant would be super cool if he didn’t have so much health, it’s a ten minute ordeal fighting him and he only has 4 attacks so it’s a bit boring but all his attacks are really fun to dodge and punish
Enraged guardian nearly slaughtered me in steel soul, I had EVERY: dreamer, charm, nail upgrade, mask shard and soul container. Long story short, it would have SUUUUUCCCCKKKED if I had died then.
I honestly really thought that the first Hornet fight and the Broken Vessel are good, only problem with Broken Vessel is the ghosts. Sure they’re easily taken care of with the defender charm thing, I feel like they should only be there during the Lost Kin fight. They really just seem unnecessary, and really should just be for the dream fight.
Ugh..this is sad. People have the nerve to complain about difficulty like edgy journalists. Flukemarm isn’t much of a boss,but it’s lore matches up with its one attack making it solid in the world. Enraged Guardian is essentially shadow dash hell. People also have an issue with bosses being too easy,say with Crystal Guardian. Also,this game doesn’t exactly HAVE a difficulty. It all depends on your playstyle. My playstyle gets me absolutely destroyed by RNG bosses. So bosses like Soul Master slap me silly. I do well against all enemies except RNG. It all depends on your playstyle and view of the game. people also had the nerve to complain about getting a very good opportunity for healing in Xero’s boss fight. Meanwhile people were mad about certain dream bosses,either because their supposed defense was too high or their attacks were “too hard to dodge.” And yes i just went on an edgy and meaningless rant because i got triggered about anything in a generously 15 dollar game being criticized in any way.
Yeah, i agree on markoth lmao. Out of ALL the radiant fights, he took me more than TWICE as long as the second longest (5 hours total of nonstop attempts)
Idk, he felt pretty easy to me. My tactic was just having shaman stone/ soul twister/ soul catcher/ nailmaster's glory/ soul eater. It does require you to go overcharmed. I never actually used my Basic attack against markoth and all of my dmg was done through nail arts and spells. Took me like 1 hour compared to AbsRad which took me like 6h.
@@Amiko_Ami12 to be fair like most of that time was me being dumb and using a nail build (but at least I was smart enough to use nail arts). For like the last hour and a half I actually used a proper spell build so I could delete him in phase 2.
@@hdckighfkvhvgmk Yeah, phase two is almost impossible to finish on radiant, and spells actually deal great DMG. With shaman stone IIRC. Abyss shriek does 120 DMG, almost 6 times as much as Pure nail, which stands at 21. And even shade soul, which does 40, will probably hit him twice very often, dealing 80 DMG. Almost as much as 4 times Nail DMG. And consider how much you can spam them.
I love mantis lords and sisters of battle the most cuz there are no fake or arguable animations when you can mix up the next movement because of a lot of another animations happening or some similar pre-movement animations you cant separate from each other. Like with zoth or grim Its completely fair fight when all movements are clear but also preety fast so it all depends only on your reaction and speed. And the music is so great and helps you to concentrate well and make you such hyped up when you doging the attacks
Gruz mother is actually a good introduction for new players. It shows you how these enemies tend to be faster stronger and bigger (sometimes). Plus it's the 5th easiest boss in the game. The easiest one is hornet's 1st fight. The hardest boss is the much dreaded primal aspid. Didnt die to gruz mother. Didnt even take damage from hornet.
Just beat Pure Vessel today, he is fast as hell, hits like a truck, and his attacks take up a ton of area. He easily gave me the most amount of trouble of all the bosses.

I don't particularly like Broken Vessel or it's counterpart but I respect it for forcing me to stay grounded. I was always in the air prior and now have realized that it's not always a good idea to stay in the air.
I quite enjoy Abs Rad, although I understand the hatred for rng. And personally, I don’t find there to be much rng anyway. Sure, most people think any situation where they can’t escape damage is bs and complete rng and they hate the boss for it; but here’s the way I fully figured the fight out: I play chess. I look ahead and react to certain attacks instantly to allow myself time to deal with others. 95% of positions I get stuck in are due to me using my dash and not having it again for another situation, even though I could have easily double jumped/did a desolate dive to evade the same attack. Of course there’s still rng, but if I’m being honest, I don’t curse it anymore because I don’t die to it anymore. Many people say it’s impossible to get consistent at it, but I have worked at it and have gotten consistent, so that’s why I find it fun.
WHAT? absolute radiance so low on the list?? It's so good man, so many mechanics and you don't have to worry about him jumping onto you and hitting you with it's own hitbox, you learn the mechanics and that's the fun part edit: well at least radiance is up there
For flukemarm I literally stood on the platform beside it and shot it with spells, waited for the babies and killed those for soul so I could just sit there and keep shooting
I haven't fought Pure Vessel yet, but he always looks so cool. The only thing I dislike is that it takes SO LONG to fight him again after you die in the battle XD
I loved the crystal gaurdians, especially on radiant with shadow dash, really fun and tricky fight overall. The collector is also a boss I loved on radiant, just the fact that you have to kill the enemies before they become overwhelming and the collector itself doesn't have that many attacks. I will say though that the 3rd Colloseum boss deserves to be very close to last place. I think it may have been fun, if not for the fact that his friend keeps getting in the way, like every time I manage to find a good shadow dash opportunity he's in the way. Just not a fun boss fight overall, I just feel like I'm launching spells and swinging my nail hoping to kill him before he kills me.
My favorites: Nightmare King Grimm - Fun fight, good music to go along with it, feels amazing to finally win the fight Sisters of Battle - Amazing twist in the Pantheon of Hallownest. Takes the Mantis Lords and makes them even better. (The Mantis Lords were one of the first bosses I defeated) (probably Absolute Radiance, I haven't gotten there yet) - I'm up for a challenge My least favorites: Pure Vessel - the pacing of the music and the fight being so different made it feel weird, and the stupid projectile attack is only feasibly avoidable with a shadow dash Lost kin - a minion literally every two seconds gets extremely annoying, and otherwise I didn't notice a difference from the Broken Vessel Enraged Guardian - When I fought it, it felt like it took a million years to kill, and would sometimes jump directly on top of me for no reason All the meh ones (Vengefly King, Soul Warrior, Massive Moss Charger, Flukemarm, etc.) because they honestly did not feel like bosses

My top 3 favorite: 1 Pure vessel, at first it's frustrating as hell, but then, once you get good at it, it makes you feel like a badass 2 Sisters of battle, when I was fighting mantis lords, I was like, "eh Mantis lords, the 2nd phase is still boring, I think they should buff i-", and I lost my shit when I saw all 3 of them stand up, my 2nd favorite bossfight buffed, i died my first try, but was happy af. When I got good at the fight, it made me feel like a badass 3 NKG, many varied attacks made it so much more fun than the normal version, at first, I cheesed normal version, and thought to myself "It's not like i'm gonna have to fight it again" And that's where I fked up real bad, after I tried NKG for the first time, I obviuosly died, and just sat there for 20 minutes thinking, what went wrong,and after the 20 minutes, I hopped onto yt, hoping, there would be another cheese, I saw how you could skip the entire fight, but I wasn't gonna give up on a challenge, so I took hours on hours figuring out my charms for this fight, it was quite a while ago, but I still think I remember the charms I used, and ater I won, I said to myself, "never, ever cheese a fight ever" and after I got good at the fight, it made me feel like a badass. So to clarify, Hollow knight makes you feel like a badass.
Mantis Lords and Soul Master are my favorites, my only problem with Soul Master is that going back through the Soul Sanctum for the run back is very annoying but other wise he’s very fun
I like Grimm, Nightmare King Grimm, the Dung Defender, and the White Defender. However, one thing I don't like is that after you beat White Defender, he starts dealing double damage for no reason. I had a lot of fun with White Defender, but that just killed it for me. It went from a really fun fight to "Oh look, now he kills me in four shots instead of seven. That's very irritating." I was confused at first, but then I just felt pretty cheated. I wanted a combination of essence and the fun of the fight, but the fun was absolutely killed because it suddenly felt like a much less fair fight, and I couldn't beat him again to get more essence.
I like Flukeworm... idk, it’s kind of satisfying beating the shit out of it. But, to be fair, if you can’t 1 shot the little bastards the fight is awful
Nightmare King Grimm is my fave boss! He's my flamboyant French circus master! It took me quite some time to defeat him but now I finally have beaten him I really like him more than troupe master.
Why was false knight higher than failed champion? I personally liked Failed champion more because the fight was a way better version of the false knight that doesn't go down immediately if you spam the attack button while it doesn't attack.
Pure Vessel is the one boss that I really can't form an opinion on. When I finished the 4th pantheon after nearly 30 attempts, I was just so done with the fight that I never wanted to try it again.

I like the bee guy because when I ran into him, I was running a max damage attack-speed build with damage cloak and wrecked him super quick.

Ascended Markoth is a really fun fight once you become familiar with him, but Radiant is straight bullshit. This is because there will occasionally be attacks that can't be avoided, so you have to be super careful. And once the second phase starts, the bullshit goes over 9000 as its very hard to even damage him. It took me 2.5hours to beat Radiant version, and even then, I got lucky. It could just as easily have taken 6 hours.

Hive knight screams YEET and the other thing about him is that he's fun, but in the pantheon it's annoying because it's so short but yet I always take like 1 dmg and for some reason it's always gonna make a difference
The Radiance, Pure Vessel, Sisters of Battle, Nightmare King Grimm.. Those bosses REALLY, REALLY went off and give me chills each time
i am fine with the hollow knight being easy, it is so deep in lore and its the end boss so you basically just want to see the credits role while thinking of your prediges skill and lightning quick learning of the patterns
I was honestly disappointed by it.. Beat it third try with a level 2 nail and then went on to do almost 30 tries on failed champion right after
@@kiiturii beat it in like 8 tries with pure nail, maybe I should just "get good" so i can like the game less. Seriously tho I thought failed champion was pretty easy, easier than the hollow knight.
@@linushallgren4156 don't get me wrong I still absolutely love the game a lot :p I just got to the radiance fight today and did 4 tries before having to get off, so far it's super difficult and I love it a lot (also upgraded my nail lol)
edit: Just beat radiance too, it's such a good fight man. My fav part of it has to be the fact that you don't take damage from it's own hitbox, I wish more bosses did that

Pure Vessel is number 1? I mean he definitely is one of the hardest bosses I've ever fought. Took me 500+ tries... but I wouldn't say he is number one. I would still rank him high but probably not over hollow knight cause he is way too hard. He would still be insanely hard even if he did one mask damage.
NKG is probably my favorite hard boss and would be my number 1 however I tend to enjoy more of the easier bosses overall.
Crystal guardian, false knight, mantis lords, and hornet would rank highly on my list.
Pure vessel is hard because of the double damage, but difficulty does not make a fight bad for me. It's about fairness, most of all. All of Pure vessel's attacks are fair, but still require very high reflex skills and memorization of his moveset. Particularly the black tendrils catch me off guard every time, and the sword pillars can get a hit in now and again.
Pure vessel is everything that I like about difficult fights (I haven't fought NKG yet, I went for the "end the ritual" ending to that dlc), even if it took me several hours to try and beat him.
My favorite boss is hive knight. I love the idea of a knighted bee, his music is (in my opinion) one of the best in the entire soundtrack, and while the fight is a bit too easy for where it is in the game, it's really fun.

When I fought troupe master Grimm, he felt like the one of the most difficult boss in the game, but eventually I beat him. Then when I fought nightmare king Grimm, it felt impossible, skip forward 5 hours of failed attempts and I finally beat nkg. The next day I attempt pantheon of the sage, halfway through I run into troupe master Grimm, and with my skills fresh of nkg I stomp him into the dirt with minimal effort and think, “was it always that easy?”
You learned his moveset, and your brain memorized the timings, your reflexes react accordingly.
For instance, after the Pure Vessel fight, which I seriously struggled with for hours, I actually can't fight him ever again by jumping. I always instinctively dash through his attacks, as that's the method that my brain found easiest. (Shadow dash always resets just in time for his next attack, which is an example of great design)
At the same time, fighting him for so long made me significantly worse at other boss fights in the Pantheon. It's all about the fact that your brain gets used to certain patterns and forgets about other types of patterns. After fighting the other bosses in the pantheon, I suddenly get bad again at fighting Pure Vessel.
Failed Champ is a great fight. Also Absolute Radiance is amazing. I feel like a lot of people don't like these bosses because they're hard. Take the time to learn them, and they are fun.
I'm extremely split on absolute radiance. It is kinda RNG based even when you get extremely good at it, but it and the Pantheon of Hallownest is the only boss in any game that's really pushed me to my limits, to take advantage of everything in the game and throw it at one boss, and I appreciate it for that.
Honestly fluke milf was a massive disappointment one attack, free soul and one hit minion kill as soon as you get a pale ore this also applies to the collector but at least the collector was dynamic and had charm
I love absolute radiance. Its so satisfying to dodge her attacks and she is so intimidating. I think she is better than the radiance because the radiance was a bit too easy for a final boss.
When it comes to boss quality, I agree with this list.
Dung defender is my favorite boss, but the fight doesn’t have the best quality.
I loved, loved, loved the whole Nightmare Grimm DLC and NKG is my top #1 boss fight in Hollow Knight
Soul tyrant would be super cool if he didn’t have so much health, it’s a ten minute ordeal fighting him and he only has 4 attacks so it’s a bit boring but all his attacks are really fun to dodge and punish

Enraged guardian nearly slaughtered me in steel soul, I had EVERY: dreamer, charm, nail upgrade, mask shard and soul container. Long story short, it would have SUUUUUCCCCKKKED if I had died then.

I honestly really thought that the first Hornet fight and the Broken Vessel are good, only problem with Broken Vessel is the ghosts. Sure they’re easily taken care of with the defender charm thing, I feel like they should only be there during the Lost Kin fight. They really just seem unnecessary, and really should just be for the dream fight.
Honestly, if the soul warrior was weaker and a common enemy, I would love that as an enemy.

Ugh..this is sad. People have the nerve to complain about difficulty like edgy journalists. Flukemarm isn’t much of a boss,but it’s lore matches up with its one attack making it solid in the world. Enraged Guardian is essentially shadow dash hell. People also have an issue with bosses being too easy,say with Crystal Guardian. Also,this game doesn’t exactly HAVE a difficulty. It all depends on your playstyle. My playstyle gets me absolutely destroyed by RNG bosses. So bosses like Soul Master slap me silly. I do well against all enemies except RNG. It all depends on your playstyle and view of the game. people also had the nerve to complain about getting a very good opportunity for healing in Xero’s boss fight. Meanwhile people were mad about certain dream bosses,either because their supposed defense was too high or their attacks were “too hard to dodge.” And yes i just went on an edgy and meaningless rant because i got triggered about anything in a generously 15 dollar game being criticized in any way.

Yeah, i agree on markoth lmao. Out of ALL the radiant fights, he took me more than TWICE as long as the second longest (5 hours total of nonstop attempts)
Idk, he felt pretty easy to me. My tactic was just having shaman stone/ soul twister/ soul catcher/ nailmaster's glory/ soul eater. It does require you to go overcharmed. I never actually used my Basic attack against markoth and all of my dmg was done through nail arts and spells. Took me like 1 hour compared to AbsRad which took me like 6h.
@@Amiko_Ami12 to be fair like most of that time was me being dumb and using a nail build (but at least I was smart enough to use nail arts). For like the last hour and a half I actually used a proper spell build so I could delete him in phase 2.
@@hdckighfkvhvgmk Yeah, phase two is almost impossible to finish on radiant, and spells actually deal great DMG. With shaman stone IIRC. Abyss shriek does 120 DMG, almost 6 times as much as Pure nail, which stands at 21. And even shade soul, which does 40, will probably hit him twice very often, dealing 80 DMG. Almost as much as 4 times Nail DMG. And consider how much you can spam them.
Wait Inraged crystal gurdian did double damage! He has really easy to dodge attacks, that's why I beat him easily.

I love mantis lords and sisters of battle the most cuz there are no fake or arguable animations when you can mix up the next movement because of a lot of another animations happening or some similar pre-movement animations you cant separate from each other. Like with zoth or grim
Its completely fair fight when all movements are clear but also preety fast so it all depends only on your reaction and speed. And the music is so great and helps you to concentrate well and make you such hyped up when you doging the attacks
Mantis lords are my favorite boss. The soundtrack from this fight is so good as well

Gruz mother is actually a good introduction for new players. It shows you how these enemies tend to be faster stronger and bigger (sometimes). Plus it's the 5th easiest boss in the game. The easiest one is hornet's 1st fight.
The hardest boss is the much dreaded primal aspid. Didnt die to gruz mother. Didnt even take damage from hornet.
PV is one of the most rampant, fast paced bosses in the game & yet the music.. its tame

Just beat Pure Vessel today, he is fast as hell, hits like a truck, and his attacks take up a ton of area. He easily gave me the most amount of trouble of all the bosses.

I don't particularly like Broken Vessel or it's counterpart but I respect it for forcing me to stay grounded. I was always in the air prior and now have realized that it's not always a good idea to stay in the air.
I quite enjoy Abs Rad, although I understand the hatred for rng. And personally, I don’t find there to be much rng anyway. Sure, most people think any situation where they can’t escape damage is bs and complete rng and they hate the boss for it; but here’s the way I fully figured the fight out: I play chess. I look ahead and react to certain attacks instantly to allow myself time to deal with others. 95% of positions I get stuck in are due to me using my dash and not having it again for another situation, even though I could have easily double jumped/did a desolate dive to evade the same attack. Of course there’s still rng, but if I’m being honest, I don’t curse it anymore because I don’t die to it anymore. Many people say it’s impossible to get consistent at it, but I have worked at it and have gotten consistent, so that’s why I find it fun.
WHAT? absolute radiance so low on the list?? It's so good man, so many mechanics and you don't have to worry about him jumping onto you and hitting you with it's own hitbox, you learn the mechanics and that's the fun part

I haven't fought Pure Vessel yet, but he always looks so cool. The only thing I dislike is that it takes SO LONG to fight him again after you die in the battle XD
I had my dreams destroyed with Broken Vessel, I thought that I would be able to save him after defeating him, but no, he just died.
I loved the crystal gaurdians, especially on radiant with shadow dash, really fun and tricky fight overall. The collector is also a boss I loved on radiant, just the fact that you have to kill the enemies before they become overwhelming and the collector itself doesn't have that many attacks. I will say though that the 3rd Colloseum boss deserves to be very close to last place. I think it may have been fun, if not for the fact that his friend keeps getting in the way, like every time I manage to find a good shadow dash opportunity he's in the way. Just not a fun boss fight overall, I just feel like I'm launching spells and swinging my nail hoping to kill him before he kills me.
My favorites:
Nightmare King Grimm - Fun fight, good music to go along with it, feels amazing to finally win the fight
Sisters of Battle - Amazing twist in the Pantheon of Hallownest. Takes the Mantis Lords and makes them even better. (The Mantis Lords were one of the first bosses I defeated)
(probably Absolute Radiance, I haven't gotten there yet) - I'm up for a challenge
My least favorites:
Pure Vessel - the pacing of the music and the fight being so different made it feel weird, and the stupid projectile attack is only feasibly avoidable with a shadow dash
Lost kin - a minion literally every two seconds gets extremely annoying, and otherwise I didn't notice a difference from the Broken Vessel
Enraged Guardian - When I fought it, it felt like it took a million years to kill, and would sometimes jump directly on top of me for no reason
All the meh ones (Vengefly King, Soul Warrior, Massive Moss Charger, Flukemarm, etc.) because they honestly did not feel like bosses

Damn I didnt expect Pure Vessel to be this high. I honestly haven't really fought it myself properly but I totally expected NKG or Sisters of Battle to win
My top 3 favorite:
1 Pure vessel, at first it's frustrating as hell, but then, once you get good at it, it makes you feel like a badass
2 Sisters of battle, when I was fighting mantis lords, I was like, "eh Mantis lords, the 2nd phase is still boring, I think they should buff i-", and I lost my shit when I saw all 3 of them stand up, my 2nd favorite bossfight buffed, i died my first try, but was happy af. When I got good at the fight, it made me feel like a badass
3 NKG, many varied attacks made it so much more fun than the normal version, at first, I cheesed normal version, and thought to myself "It's not like i'm gonna have to fight it again" And that's where I fked up real bad, after I tried NKG for the first time, I obviuosly died, and just sat there for 20 minutes thinking, what went wrong,and after the 20 minutes, I hopped onto yt, hoping, there would be another cheese, I saw how you could skip the entire fight, but I wasn't gonna give up on a challenge, so I took hours on hours figuring out my charms for this fight, it was quite a while ago, but I still think I remember the charms I used, and ater I won, I said to myself, "never, ever cheese a fight ever" and after I got good at the fight, it made me feel like a badass.
So to clarify, Hollow knight makes you feel like a badass.
Mantis Lords and Soul Master are my favorites, my only problem with Soul Master is that going back through the Soul Sanctum for the run back is very annoying but other wise he’s very fun
I like Grimm, Nightmare King Grimm, the Dung Defender, and the White Defender. However, one thing I don't like is that after you beat White Defender, he starts dealing double damage for no reason. I had a lot of fun with White Defender, but that just killed it for me. It went from a really fun fight to "Oh look, now he kills me in four shots instead of seven. That's very irritating." I was confused at first, but then I just felt pretty cheated. I wanted a combination of essence and the fun of the fight, but the fun was absolutely killed because it suddenly felt like a much less fair fight, and I couldn't beat him again to get more essence.
I like Flukeworm... idk, it’s kind of satisfying beating the shit out of it. But, to be fair, if you can’t 1 shot the little bastards the fight is awful
Nightmare King Grimm is my fave boss! He's my flamboyant French circus master! It took me quite some time to defeat him but now I finally have beaten him I really like him more than troupe master.
Why was false knight higher than failed champion? I personally liked Failed champion more because the fight was a way better version of the false knight that doesn't go down immediately if you spam the attack button while it doesn't attack.
One thing that I never hear talked about is the nosk soundtrack. I do think he is a pushover but the boss lead up and soundtrack are really epic.
I like both normal Grimm and NKG, just that NKG's music is a hella lot better and is easier to fight Imo
Pure Vessel is the one boss that I really can't form an opinion on. When I finished the 4th pantheon after nearly 30 attempts, I was just so done with the fight that I never wanted to try it again.
