I love this tune, also i notice most scot players use the f cleft left hand the CORRECT WAY, 4-2 fingering the same way i was taught to do it that way by my acc teacher here in the usa, unfortunate that many acc players in the usa still use that old 3-2 tech on the left hand, which does to cut it.....
It's not a matter of more or less widening the tuning,although possible...You can play the stop with 2 reeds instead of 3. Then it will sound less wider! Such as with the cheaper boxes with only 2 voices beating. Still more possibilities,a tone playing with under or upper beating.And all 3 of them result in a very wide beating. Matter of taste,and...sort of music.
I like the sound of this box too. Must admit I'm a sucker for the wider tuned morinos though. Nicely played !
