Since you introduced me to Vero almost a year ago in that beautiful video in Spain, I barely use Instagram. I was so stressed and feeling so low about my photography. As you said, fighting with the algorithm... Vero looks way better, I don't get stressed about likes and it's GENUINE. At least that's the feeling I get from it. More community driven. Firstly, I hope you’re feeling better! I just watched your Q & A video then straight into not this photography tips video. I have been following you for close to a year and love your work & these videos. The best intro video is sublime, who do you get to video you, obviously you cannot do all this alone? I would like to do photography professionally but struggle big time with fear, self doubt and anxiety. Multiple caring roles creates another layer of overwhelm. I keep educating myself and hopefully eventually everything will settle and it’ll be my time. Please keep inspiring ❤

I bought a cheap rgb light and experimented a bit at home. It was so exciting. I will buy maybe a couple of different type of lights and experiment a lot more haha.

I LOVE rainy/cloudy days for shooting, but I also tend to do B&W so overcast days help with that

the ratio of lighting to emotion is useful point keen on new Nikon z8 coming soon, not as expensive other 8K camera systems just as useful, Led lighting useful and not heavy. Good stuff.

I get camera shy in the rain, I admit. Towards that end I bought an underwater housing for my camera.

Excellent video thanks. Are you still moving to Sony? I would have a strong think about it. I did it but I am in the process of moving back to canon. They are very good but I did not like the feel and got bored very quickly with them.
Thank you David! Yes, I’ll get the new gear probably next month. Why do you feel that way? Got bored in which way? It’s gear in the end of the day. And Sony has even more menus and settings to experiment with. I love Canon but the Sony A7RV has many more features than the Canon R5. Curious to know why you don’t like Sony. The feedback will be useful. 🙏🏼
That was the camera I sold. The autofocus is brilliant but just never got on with the feel. The lens mount is very close to the grip which made my fingers rub on the lens. But it may be ok for you as women do have smaller hands.
