Hoarding disorder is classified as a type of OCD. OCD comes in an array of forms but is mistakenly usually regarded as being one specific set of qualities. Title could be improved.
Heartwarming to see troubled souls helping one other. That being said, a mother may feel ashamed but never to the point she does not understand what her daughter has gone through and chooses not to demonstrate her love and support by arriving and helping her daughter to achieve same. Unconditional love, that's the deal when we choose to have children, and it's for all our lives. God bless them all.
Just as living in filth is unhealthy, so is cleaning with that much bleach. The fact that she was huffing it in like it was fresh air is scary.
this video is from another show. Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners. in that show they have OCD cleaners go to clean up the homes of hoarders. the show concentrates on the mess but I really wish they would concentrate on the cleaners and how they clean. The cleaners are extreme (one vacuums the air) but they do come up with some useful ideas and I think there is something to learn from them.

My mom has that ocd cleaning. If one tiny crumb hits the carpet she will vacuum the whole house.
I went into a fit laughing because the two scenes they showed of the cat are just mirrored. It's not even additional footage. They just flipped the second scene LOL.

You do use too much bleach. It’s super toxic. Destroys very important sensors in the lungs and sinuses. The surface areas just need the dirt removed and a small amount of disinfectant. Lord. Both of these women have issues that make me sad, but I also relate slightly.
I gag every time I smell bleach that accidentally gets on my hands. I could never imagine wanting to use it as perfume. 🤢
says she gets 2 bottles of bleach a day but I can make 2 bottles last a month
@@iain.4627 Yes, a gallon bottle of bleach will last me a month. I use a cap full to 1/4 cup in my sink when I wash my dishes. I do like using it to sanitize hard surfaces.

Strange how the hoarder never helps do a thing. Irks me.
I think having them away is easier for everyone. They clearly have an attachment to the items and it can be stressful to see everything you’ve collected over years being discarded. Also gives too much opportunity for second thoughts and refusing help :/
the hoarder wont throw anything out. if you throw it in the trash, they will go pull it out and bring it back. if you throw their stuff out, - even if it is garbage or rotten - they get angry. They also know where everything is. if you move something, they know it and they get mad. it's a mental problem. it's not that they are lazy. why else would they want to hang on to something rotten ?

It happens when you get in to a depressive state, you stop caring about yourself and hygiene, educate yourself on what mental health is, it’s not a joke. And she clearly stated she was once married to a clean freak and that’s probably the main reason why she ended up like this, stop judging others cause the only embarrassing thing is you putting others down online when they are clearly going through it
People like you are the main reason why there’s negative attitudes and stigmas on mental health preventing people from getting help because they feel like they’ll be judged just like how you judged her…

So they told her they were gonna clean her flat...then took her and her parents to another flat that was already clean and showed it like it was hers...the clean one was way bigger than the first flat! Lol I call bull💩.
