Will the stitches hold well in laundry when you snip the underscore between each letter?

If you don't mind them - don't cut them this will hold the longest

I believe we were using a #20 (clip on sole which comes with the Bernina 325 and 335) mysewingroom.ca/?s=Foot+-+%2320&post_type=product

I would not snip the back to help hold them in place.
