I've let my Bernina sit for two years because I was so intimidated on how to operate the B740. When I purchased the machine I hardly had a lesson on how to sew with it. I finally got ot out and started watching Robyn Curd and have learned so much. Thank You Thank You
I've been enjoying this series, thank you SO much for posting about how to use our wonderful 700 series machines!!! I just can't believe how most of this very helpful information IS NOT IN THE DANG OWNER'S MANUAL. For those of us who are older, none of the icons on the screen are intuitive and I've often sat and pressed button after button, not knowing what the heck I'm doing. I had finally resorted to only using this machine like a basic, old-school model without a computer, thus missing out on so many fun and creative opportunities.
So glad I found you on you tube. I am having such a love affair with my Bernina. You're mini classes are great because when I purchased I kept pinching myself because I couldn't believe I was really buying it! So while the girl was showing me all about my machine there was a lot that I needed to really pay better attention. This is really helpful and you are a great teacher.
Thank you - I am waiting for delivery of a 770QE E and will not be able to travel to store due to Covid 19. Central Florida is in a major surge. I hope to view all your videos this week before the arrival of my machine. My current machine is an Artista 180 -1997 vintage with Windows 95 and floppy discs! So much to learn.
choochoo bruemmer Dear Robyn, I purchased my Bernina in 765 in Dec c of 2016. I have learned so much about my machine from watching your videos. I have the BSR foot but am having trouble controlling my stitches, they seem jerky unless I sew really fast then I'm unable to control the quilt pattern I have drawn on my quilt. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you.
You are a so excellent teacher !!! I'am from Belgium and no one guive to me such explications about my 780 ! Thank you very much , I learn a lot with you !
I absolutely love this machine and your videos are a must see. The book is great ,but the videos make it so much easier. Thanks a bunch . Bought my machine in Ohio.
Hi, there I live in South WalesUK and just wanted to tell you how brillant your Videos are I have had my 770 for 6 months having a had a very long gap from Bernina but this machine is just amazing, you have helped me so much just come the videos coming. Thank you
Thank you so much Robyn! I purchased my machine in Hawaii and while I love the machine and they were very helpful after my purchase, there isn't a full on class offered. My class was this- "What do you want to know?" Your tutorials are teaching me so much! I appreciate your clear instructions and am feeling more and more confident! I need to know how to make a quilt label with the font, so am looking for your tutorial on that. Thanks again and Mahalo!
I have had my Bernina 750 QE for 5 years and you just showed me somethings I never knew before! The Quilting stitch 1356 and the ECO button video! Wow! Thanks for taking the time to make these videos! If you ever get to a point you want to show the embroidery functions and how to have a perfect stitch with a more complicated design, that would be lovely. My machine tends to create huge nests when the designs get more intensely stitched.
I'm ready for a new machine so have been watching many videos and reading many reviews in an effort to narrow down my choice. Your tutorials are excellent and I've learned so much from them that I think I could sit down and sew on a Bernina with no problem right now! You are a wonderful teacher.
Hello Robyn, Although I'm new to sewing, I love this machine. What is the best thread to use on this machine? Also please schedule some very easy project, showing some features usage. Thank you very much, this tutorial was very helpful.
Hi Simone, I teach a Bernina Club online if you are interested. My website is www.sewingbernina.co.nz. There is 5 years of my classes with notes on there. It is only $70.00 per year to join. Glad you like the Video. Fantastic machine.Enjoy.
Please could you do a demonstration on the Bernina B750QE, very nervous to use my machine, always go back to using my 440QE. Oh before I forget I’m from Cape Town, South Africa. You demonstrating the machines is very informative. Theresa.
What a wonderfull informative video. I have subscribed to catch your others and updates As my 770 QE will be hear soon. Am also considering the embroidery module, do you have videos for that. very excited to hear you are an nz based educator, as I am in nz too.
Thank you Robyn, Robbyn here! I just purchased a demo 770QE this week, mostly because of BSR. My dream machine! Your classes are very thorough. Thank-you so much, very helpful! I totally love this machine. Do you know if there is a ruler foot attachment for the BSR?
You’re an excellent teacher. Do you have to use the button or knee lifter to raise the foot? Does this machine machine have a lifter behind the needle?
So helpful. Thanks! Does this machine have a hover feature, where the foot raises up a bit when it stops in needle down? If so, how do I activate it? Thanks!
Sorry I missed this post. I hope you found the hover function . I will do a new video on setting up the features on the machine. They are very useful at times.
CAN IT DO TURKISH HEMSTICHINH ABS PICOT EDGE WITH A THICK 110 SIZE NEEDLE OR A WING NEEDLE . I CANT FIND A NEW MACHINE THAT DOES THESE VERY POPULAR STITCHES
@@berninarobyn Thank you for responding. I am brand new to this 740 Bernina and while I was sewing the other day, I had a screen come up with 2 red arrows and what looked like green foam under the needle. I had no idea what it meant and the machine no longer would work. I decided to try turning it off and then turning back on and the machine worked. Do you have any idea what I might have done to cause the screen to come up? Thanks for your help!
@@joanweber6181 Nothing to worry about ,the foot may have stopped in the wrong position. You did the right thing turning it off and back on. It resets itself. Happy sewing.
If your machine hasn't had its regular software updates foot no 43 may not show up in your listed feet. Check to make sure you have the latest update for your machine. The bernina websites all have the latest versions to download for your machine.
I’ve got the 740, and I’m confused as to how to tell the machine I’ve changed feet. Can you help me? When I click on the foot I want, it just gives me a description of what the foot does.
@@Imjetta7 You can just change your foot and it will be ok to sew unless the stitch you have selected can't use that foot. You don't have to tell the machine. Your machine will tell you the recommended foot for the stitch you are using.
The quality of the machine looks so good and presser foot looks good quality too because u changing the presser foot from roots but the design of machine didn’t like and the computer screen complicate

HI Joe, Are you talking about your own pattern that you want to digitize to Embroider?? If so you will need the Bernina Software program. If it is a pattern already digitized you can download the Bernina Artlink Version 8 of any of the Bernina websites or there is a free trial for the Bernina toolbox which is also great. I send my patterns onto my Bernina USB stick then download it onto my machine that way. Maybe I should do a Video?

Helpful review
You’re an excellent teacher. Do you have to use the button or knee lifter to raise the foot? Does this machine machine have a lifter behind the needle?
I use the knee lifter mainly and the 7 series only has a button to lift the sewing foot no take up lever to lift the foot.
Will you be doing an introduction on Bernia 435 which I have just purchased. Excellent programme.
I have done one but maybe I have made it private. I will have a look for you.
great lesson. Thanks.
Awesome, my first BERNINA and I’m lost.
Please review the seam guide plate measurement, where is the 1/4, 1/2,
Love this!

I've downloaded Bernina 8, but it will not do anything.. This is very frustrating. I'm using a printer cable. is that okay.?
This is no joke, I'm really that naive, also this is an old angel pattern transferred to PC from obsolete Explorations

Yes please do there is limited support
FYI, I figured it out. Go to your PC's task bar and type "services" then go to "universal communication services"
👏👏👏!!
Dual feed is the type of foot, her accent makes it sound like she is saying Jewel feed.

Turn on some light please
