Fabulous Lisa, I am definitely going to try this one as I’ve been longing to paint with watercolours again, waiting to get all of my christmas cards finished first. Using the Bockingford watercolour paper gives more ‘tooth’ for the pastels to ‘grip’ the paper too, I love the mix of the watercolour and pastels. I have 2 of my pastel paintings in my art room from a long time ago that still look just as I had painted them. It’s lovely to return to something that gives you pleasure and those who reflect on your work! Thank you again for all of the inspiration you give. Stay safe and Merry Christmas 🤶🏻 Sandy ❄️

Yes the card is great! I had run out of my hot pressed smooth water colour card. I love to mix materials to get the desired effect. I’m glad you feel inspired. I too would like to do more pastel work. I used to work with oil pastels back in the day. Art supplies get me really excited!! Good luck with the Christmas cards and have a great week!😊😘
