I just changed my fog lights. It was super easy and nicely explained here. I did break a small plastic piece but the lights locked still. So be patient as he said 😅. I am so proud of myself.😂 Huge shoutout to ThicF30.
Just as a FYI to some of you. On my F31 I had to first disconnect the cable in order to twist and loosen the socket. Thx for your excellent clips on coding👍
When you were coding, I noticed that your center dome light is different (for a pre-lci). Do you have a a retrofit video for that, including where you purchased the part? I don't like the fact that both my center and rear have to turn on at the same time. And they look too basic.

Hey ThicF30 I have a question for you I want to install some LED angel eyes on my F30 but most are projector headlights and when using a LED bulb from my past experience LED's in a projector headlight assy do NOT put out a good light outpost at night or put good light on the road. I have heard that to get a good light output onto the road you have to use a good HID kit because LED's are worthless so do you know if this is the case ?

Bro, I’ve bought the same exact LEDs and don’t the same finding steps and everything is working perfectly except that when I turn them off, the LED bulbs keep flickering in a very low light percentage. Do you have any insights ?

So I installed these Fog Light Led's and did the coding but when my headlights are on it seems like Fog Lights are on too, glowing little bit, but not like on on just a little bit. I expect them to be completely off until I actually turn them on. Is there any way to fix this?
Hey Deyo. I have the same issue on my LED fog lights, got that little glow look when it's OFF. Still finding a way to fix this issue. Coded off all warm/cold monitoring but no no luck.
I think it would... the car has been told to check for the lower voltage of the LED bulb, rather than higher halogen. If no voltage going through, bulb broken, error code.
Yup I did coded mines, thanks bro, I’m probably gona try add a resistor an see if that helps, it’s barely noticeable tho, you really have to look to notice the flickering
Malarkey...I did that exact same procedure with mine. Didn't work. No combination of those values made the LEDs I got work without a fault. Guess I'm buying new bulbs. Maybe I'll make one more attempt tonight before ordering something.

I noticed that those LED's have nodes firing straight forward. I have the halogen housing, so I'm wondering if that will be too bright to fit into the DRL slot. Has anyone else done that with these LED's?

It looks like I explained that in another video and a community post. Basically, vgate does not have consistent stock in their adapter therefore I cannot market a product that is not available to my subscribers. New adapter is the exact same just a different name

Depo doesn’t make lci headlights. In fact nobody makes an aftermarket solution for xenon to lci at the moment. Only option is fully custom or oem and that’s about 3k

Did you do the coding part? Setting Fog light warm/cold monitoring to not active should solve it..
If you’re doing anything lighting related again I would try to turn down the exposure on your camera and you’ll be able to see it better 👍🏽

Probably the cheapest and best looking upgrade on a BMW. 6000k HIDs, LED turn signals and LED fog lights. But please don't replace your HID for LED.
