Worked like a charm.
Like others have said, will take a while, you will lose some faith, but the USB will deliver.
I keep getting the same error message: " We were not able to find the USB where to write the ISO to" even tough there is a empty usb drive in y computer and a m.2 NVME drive with my Linus on there. What am I doing wrong?
I did all and after plugging the usb to my pc already started the process like it shows on your video “starting,finished OK” Now it is stucked on starting Update UTMP about System Boot/Shutdown. Does not continue to create boot media. Any help ?

why not istall the Windows 10 ISO directly to the USB. I did that to my brand new USB stick from the windows 10 ISO download page. Will that not wortk on a 2013 iMac?

Thank you so much!!! I'm building my first PC. I followed quite a few tutorials without success, but yours really helped and it was super easy. The CMOS popped up on my 2nd tried and took about 45 mins. before it restarted my PC. I have a Macbook Air M1 2020. I did have to convert my drive from MBR to GPT but that was super easy.

Mine failed. CMOS always ends with "slax login" dialog. Maybe i need a new usb thumb drive UPDATE: switched usb drive, now cmos is working! Thanks!

Anyone else stuck on the "Copying ISO to USB Drive" screen? I've read comments that have said to wait it out and i've stuck to it. Only problem is that it's been more than an hour just on this one screen with no progress from the loading bar! Any suggestions?

Mine says that a driver is missing or could not be found after all these steps and clicking next on the first Windows setup screen with the languages. Any way this can be fixed?

It says we are not able to find the USB to write the ISO to. Even though if the usb wasn’t there it wouldn’t even boot to windows.

everything went smooth, i did the loader.efi stuff too it wrote some scripts and rebooted itself but its now stuck on BLACK SCREEEN WITH "_" for 30 mins now!! what do i do?

I created the bootable usb successfully, but when I try and boot it there’s an error message that says “could not locate ‘efi\boot\bootx64.efi’: [14] not found”

Guys be patient. If stuck on “loading files to usb” wait it out. If stuck on “concatenation the following two files”wait it out. I was pulling my hair but stayed patient. I have Big Sur installed and the home brew method doesn’t work in terminal. This is the only way.

Hi, great video and clear instructions, however I’m stuck at the point of trying to open the USBzile file. I held down CNTL on my MacBook, then clicked open, and continued to hold CNTL down while clicking again, and got to the second bigger dialogue window, but while still holding CNTL I clicked open and something looked to happen behind the dialogue window but the software agreement window did not open. I’m now stuck as I can’t go further until that window opens and I can accept the terms. Any suggestions?

I just tried it with an Intel NUC. Unfortunately CMOS on that machine takes very long. I see the CMOS grassy wallpaper and nothing else happening for at least an hour now. Guess, I'll just wait
Do you have anymore information on the specifications of this Intel NUC?
The process won't likely work on a "soon to be" Windows device with 4 GB or less of RAM.
Everything went smooth until i reached the " copying iso to usd drive" here the loading bar seems to stop and i see no movement to finish the transfer.
do I wait here or am i doing something wrong?
to anyone reading this, at that point "copying iso to usb" just wait, took like 15-20mins after closing everything else. now im on to install step

USB ZIle does not open any window upon opening with control. What should be the issue?

at what point in the CMOS should I reset my pc?
If all goes well CMOS will restart the computer for you.
If it gets stuck somewhere, report back on what part of the process it is stuck on, and I can try to help you more.
Long story short, nothing bad will happen to your computer if you try to restart CMOS early.
The worst that will happen is you will need to start the process over again on your Mac.
Nothing bad will happen to either the Mac or the "soon-to-be Windows" device.
Hi, CMOS is taking very long for me - is this normal? It still going after an hour...
What happened with it? It’s been on for 3 hours for me. Should I leave it? Did it end up working?
What part is it getting stuck at?
Try turning the PC off and then back on again.
With any luck CMOS would have completed enough of the process to have the Windows USB working correctly.
If CMOS is getting stuck, the worst that could happen is you would have to remake your USB drive using USBZile or any other USB management software.
@@elite-scripts For me its been at "Starting System Logging Service" been almost 2 hours since it last did something, will probably wait a bit further, hopefully, it works. Thanks for the tutorial still, fingers crossed!!!!!

Could you tell me which flash drive you are using and also what your "soon-to-be Windows device" is?
@@elite-scriptsim using the one built in into the case, I’ll try to use one directly connected to the motherboard as it has been stuck there for several hours now. Seeing the video tutorial, I’m stuck at the beginning when you see the Linux Penguins, hope it works in this next try!

So far it’s working for me. It’s been at the installing grub bootloader for 10-20 minutes will follow up after while to see what happens.
Some others have had issues during that step.
I am interested to hear if it completed installing the GRUB boot loader.
Those who got stuck there seemed to have success just restarting the "soon-to-be" Windows device.

Interesting, it currently just checks that it has the exact expected files on the USB.
I wonder if your macOS is adding one or more files during or after using USBZile.
Could you take a screenshot of the root directory of your USB after being prepared with USBZile and post it on the Discord?

usbfile refuse to open for anyone else? I got the option to push open, the icon popped up and then disappeared
Make sure that your Mac is running macOS 10.15 (Catalina) or newer.

What Apple device are you running and what version of macOS are you on?
Make sure you are up to date.
My Mac Only Has 24 GB
Tried using this method to get Windows 11 on my new computer but was not successful. Everything went great up until I went to install the OS. I was shown Disk 0 with many different partitions and they were not able to hold the OS. I believe the problem is in the 0x000000f code I'm getting. Any help?
If USBZile and CMOS both completed fully, it is unlikely that the USB wasn't created properly.
Just to be sure, you could run the process again with another USB.
It sounds like you are having a problem with actually installing Windows once the process I've shown here in this video is complete?
At that point, it just becomes a normal Windows installation issue.
Remember once CMOS is complete, there are no remnants of USBZile or CMOS on the USB anymore.
It is a fully functional Windows Installation Media USB.
I could assist with the Windows Installation issues as well, but this would probably be better to troubleshoot in the Discord as it sounds as if it may not be related to USBZile or CMOS.
