Does the board fold up for storage? Looks huge
It comes apart very easily for storage in the box
You are singing such high praise on the visuals I have to disagree, I was drawn in by the idea of a moving board but the result looks really disappointing, only little black bars are moving and the board in its self looks empty and uninteresting. why are there just cases with numbers and no illustrations or colors to match the 4 environments? compared to other high production value games these days this is visually boring
I disagree, and beautiful is in the eye of the beholder. The art on all the cards and periphery is great, and the board is an abstraction of a world. This is a prototype remember, so the art design of the final board may change. You're entitled to your opinion, but in person this thing looks great. The bars moving is the whole point of the concept of the obstacle system, which works in tandem with the omens to create different scenarios without having to put loads of tiles out or some other way of managing it, the system has great potential and we think it looks fantastic on the table
I agree with NurComments. Art is subjective, but this one looks kind of dull
Fair enough! I remember thinking rising sun and Ankh looked flat during the campaign, but in person they are some of my favourite boards. Each to their own
