    Subtract 2 from 1 and get x+y=1
    Then, 2x+2y=2 (3)
    Subtract 3 from 2 and get y=6.
    Then x=-5

have a test tmr -last min revision for yr 11 how do u do the subtract simultaneous equation like instead of having a plus on this question it would have a minus can you still you this method tyy you helped me understand

    • @TheAnalyst__
      @TheAnalyst__  หลายเดือนก่อน

Yes, you can still use this method.
Just try to understand when to use the "+" or "-" between the equations.
      For example, if I have
      2x + y = 4......(1)
      x - y = 1.........(2)
And let's say I want to eliminate y.
      I would use "+" between the equations, such that "+y + (-y)" eliminates y.
      Or, let's say I have
      2x - y = 2....(1)
      x - y = 1.......(2)
      If I want to eliminate y, I would use the "-" sign, such that "-y - (-y) " equals "-y + y", and this eliminates "y"
Like I said, if you make the right choice between the "+" or "-". You will be fine.
      Goodluck with your test.

Oh. Sorry thought you wanted me to make a video for you on the past questions of your upcoming exams.
But, I think you were asking whether a past question would be repeated.
      Is that your question?
If that is your question, I can't say for sure if a past question will be repeated, but it would help you if you can get the past questions and use them to practice for your upcoming test.
You can also share the past questions with me, if you have them.
