Honestly, every Halo fan knows that the Halo franchise is in a rough spot right now. I would think if there was something to let in new life into the Halo series it would be games like what this video shows. You're not the Master Chief (I think his character is explored as far as it goes to let him out of the spotlight for some time) you are an unnamed Elite, or perhaps Thel 'Vadamee sent by the Prophets to explore the deep parts of the ring and you're seeing his perspective (I've never read the books so if this isn't possible due to other events involving Thel 'Vadamee please correct me). During the event of the discovery of Installation 04. You as the unnamed Elite or Thel 'Vadamee himself, is being ordered by the Prophet of Truth, to open up a quarantined structure, located deep in Installation 04 which unknowingly to the Covenant holds The Flood, and is ultimately Thel 'Vadamee's fault for letting The Flood loose, and which also leads to Thel 'Vadamee's downfall later as a high ranked fleet commander, to the shunned Arbiter later in Halo 2. Being responsible for the release of The Flood, making Thel 'Vadamee even more of a shame to the Prophets and to the Covenant than just letting one of the sacred rings be destroyed. In the game you can get subtle references about the Master Chief's doings, or even catch a glimpse of him, then at the end of the game, Thel 'Vadamee, hands out the nickname, 'The Demon', to the Master Chief as a reference to what the Covenant will call Master Chief in Halo 2. Some fans may not like the idea of giving the spotlight to the Arbiter or some unnamed Elite, but it's one path I would love to see 343 take the franchise. Plus it would be a first for Halo to have the spotlight be exclusive to an Elite.
They could make a game with Rtas Vadum (shipmaster) as the main character. I mean, there's a comic that shows his first encounter with the flood and was sick as hell
How to get a good job that you need (not to be rude this is good for everyone who likes halo) Alr so look I don’t really know, but there might be a website where you can do the following Get a job at 343 industries Then pitch this idea In a few years get it all developed with the team Release it Then make halo great again
I love how this game, prior to all the lore, really adds to exactly how smart the Flood were. After the initial outbreak, they waited for more food to come instead of just going and spreading out immediately.
So, I'm not sure where it was confirmed this wasn't the case. But isn't it implied in the game that the Covenant succeeded in repelling the Flood that they accidentally released, and managed to lock the rest back up. And it was Keyes and Johnson's squad breaking into the area they locked down that unleashed the rest of them onto the ring? Even Guilty Spark admits he's only assuming the Covenant are responsible, since he thinks Humanity already knows about containment protocols.
Nah the covenant had already opened Pandora’s box and couldn’t close it. Remember Johnson and Keyes squad weren’t the only squad there there was another one you hear over the comms getting overwhelmed by the flood right before the flood strike Keyes squad So the flood was in no way contained to the room Keyes squad had forced open.
Should have put it on heroic difficulty, seems like it’s on easy and it takes forever for the flood infection forms to take down even a blue elite’s shield, but still cool though!
Has anyone else killed the flood combat form that runs into the fog as your crossing the bridge made out of what I assume is a fallen tree The pistol goes hard for that one 👇
I'm curious that you know how to edit the doors, yet didn't normalize the damaged ones prior to the Flood? There's still the fires and broken switches, though maybe thats beyond your control? 🤔
You can be really good at the game and still prefer easy.. not to be cocky but I’m kind of good at the campaign but I still prefer easy. I see where you’re coming from and I do understand that if you never play on harder difficulty’s then you will eventually get a little worse at any game because you never get that challenge that makes you better at the game. That might be why I’m not very good at multiplayer halo
