Had my own experience with the O.G. Puckerbutt Reaper Sauce the other night. Wanted to spice up a pot of instant noodles, so I put about 1/4 teaspoon in. Problem was, the pot was at full boil and it dispersed a goodly dose of pepper oil droplets into the air. I and my roommate had to evacuate with noses running, eyes streaming, and coughs hacking. Lesson learned, add that stuff at the end, only after the boil's gone!

I like to reheat pizza on the stove top with a little bit of water so the steam heats the top part. Also, I'm a big fan of Flatiron crushed pepper flakes, which are much hotter than normal crushed red pepper flakes (they taste great, I highly recommend them). I have learned the hard way to add the pepper flakes after heating. It's an exceptionally effective way to get people in your household to yell obscenities at you.

Huang Fei Hong also offer a newer 'Super Spicy Peanuts' variety, plus (if you're adventurous in another way) 'Spicy Peanuts with Dried Fish', 'Spicy Peanuts with Dried Shrimps', 'Mala Peanut Butter' and 'Magic Chili' (though these have most of their spice boiled out in processing, but are still quite addictive). Unfortunately, one might only be able to locate 'Magic Chili' in the US. 'Maxiangzui Peanuts' are also quite different, since they're seasoned with Sichuan peppercorn giving them a numbing quality.

They're very mildly spicy, but they taste amazing. They contain a tiny bit of chilli powder and paprika powder. But they don't have any artificial flavourings.
There's a 'spicy' chilli version of them, which has a bit of cayenne powder added, but I would argue they are even less spicy and aren't as tasty.
Perfect for an everyday snack. I always devour the entire packet when I open it.

I was very happy to see those included. Huang Fei Hong also offer their new 'Super Spicy Peanuts', plus 'Spicy Peanuts with Dried Fish', 'Spicy Peanuts with Dried Shrimps', 'Spiced Flavor Peanuts' (apparently Chinese Five Spice), 'Pepper Salt Peanuts' (apparently Sichuan Peppercorn), 'Mala Peanut Butter' (which might be comparable flavor-wise to their 'Spicy Peanuts'), 'Magic Chili' (which have most of the spice boiled out, but are quite tasty and crunchy) and various other snacks. I've only tried the 'Spicy Peanuts' (which are a favorite, given their flavor and exceptional crunch) and 'Magic Chili', but hope to try the 'Super Spicy Peanuts', 'Mala Peanut Butter' and (hesitantly) the 'Dried Fish' and 'Dried Shrimp' varieties. It probably will be difficult finding most of those. For something different, also try the numbing 'Maxiangzui Peanuts'.

There's a snack company in the Southeast called Tom's Snacks that makes a really wonderful hot fry. They're more garlicky and peppery than Andy Capp's. More addictive than regular potato chips for sure!

For those who think they are just going to go buy these kind of things (if you haven’t done so already), Ed Currie is an absolute monster. He can eat Pepper X with literally next to no reaction. So don’t go based off that, and go buy these snacks. 😂
Like hot cheetos? Big whoop. Taki’s? Who cares. But if he says it’s hot WHATSOEVER? Don’t even think about it. 😂
