So grateful I was able to pull of filming this dream video idea a week before quarantine happened! This is definitely already the year of Final Fantasy on my channel, but I also have lots planned to pay tribute to my favorite in the series, FF7
Whoa. That hits hard right when the violin starts. This song was a formative part of my youth, teaching me about loss before the loss in my life really started happening. Now when I hear it I think of everyone I've lost and how grateful I am to have spent the time with them that i have. I'm glad to see you do this one justice. My eyes are tearing up and that's not a bad thing.
For me, Aeris's theme is probably the single most emotionally charged song in the whole Final Fantasy franchise. You two really did it justice. You should be very proud of yourselves. I certainly am. :)
yeah I distinctly remember the Aeris death song being the first time I ever felt seriously emotionally impacted by a game. Then when you go back and play it again and realize the music playing when you first meet her in the church is a revision of that death song------- right in the feels! Pure gut wrenching sadness.
This is effing wicked nice scene play and wicked strings almost takes ya back to those days when ya first saw a game in 3d and could basically convince your parents it's ok to play this video game all day, because of all the reading.
I can see so much work and creativity went into this video, let alone seeing preview after preview of that amazing cosplay - The collaboration is equally heart-wrenchingly good too, and I'm so glad it got the full treatment on your channel!
Whoa! This made my jaw just drop, it is just so perfect and relaxing at the same time, you truly nailed this theme spot on and I am still like in surprise by this wonderful piece.
Big change from your last Final Fantasy video ;) I'm glad everything worked out in the end with this video. This was such a wonderful video to watch and listen to!
*Lie down. Try not to cry. Cry a lot.* Thanks, this is great work, and great costume/set too! Also, if you ever get to the end of the huge list of things to cover, I have a suggestion for just one more: Monster Hunter World Character Creation th-cam.com/video/TcrErzXpsHY/w-d-xo.html I realize theres a lot of different things going on in it so it might be difficult to arrange for just a few people. Also, I just heard the Fire Emblem: Three Houses - A Promise cover you did. I never played the game, but wow I recognize great music when I hear it!
I came in hoping you were going to use harp like that. Very beautiful, everyone!! I love how it's a little sped up. I think it's less sad that way, which I honestly prefer. Yes, the theme/idea behind the song is very bittersweet, but that's not at all what the Spirit of Aerith was about. Her story was really about finding the light in dark situations, spreading joy to others and healing the world around her to the best of her ability. I think this version promotes this idea well, since it leaves a little more room for optimism. Yes, there is sorrow and darkness in the world, but we can easily make it brighter if we want.
Thank you! I guess we did speed it up a bit, tbh even at this speed it was painfully slow for how long the melodic lines have to be held 😂 A deceptively difficult piece to play, but I love it
Whoever disliked this, I have a special set of skills, and I'm gonna join "Uparupa Lives Matter" and I will will find you, and illegally punch you in the face... metaphorically.
These songs are really meaningful to some people, as you know. It's strange, it takes you back to being a kid in a fantasy land. So it's pretty amazing when a song like this gets this kind of attention and care from talented artists. Thank you for your work.

Patti Rudisill pls!! The world needs your take on the main theme of the game! Also my favorite game of the main line series!
Woot woot! FF7 for the win! Definitely my favorite FF. I've never been more hyped about a game release than the remake out in 3 days!
I'm proud of you Patti!
I've been loving everything that you've been making so far. And it just got better with Final Fantasy 7. Looking forward to see more!
Whoa.

The second half of this when the second melody line came in, oh my goodness.... (it was wonderful already but that part!!!)
For me, Aeris's theme is probably the single most emotionally charged song in the whole Final Fantasy franchise. You two really did it justice. You should be very proud of yourselves. I certainly am. :)
I have to agree on that, and I didn't even play the game until many years after it came out :) It's everywhere! Thank you for supporting this video
I have been diehard Team AeriS myself, but I think with the remake coming out I will finally surrender to the current canon spelling 😃

Absolutely breathtaking

You have imo the best arrangements for the songs and the most warm violin sound from all the people that I follow.
Thank you so much!
This is effing wicked nice scene play and wicked strings almost takes ya back to those days when ya first saw a game in 3d and could basically convince your parents it's ok to play this video game all day, because of all the reading.

I mean....not really since no one is filming alone LOL but this was done before social distancing was really a thing 😂
Whoa! This made my jaw just drop, it is just so perfect and relaxing at the same time, you truly nailed this theme spot on and I am still like in surprise by this wonderful piece.

I pressed the like button but where is the adore button ?
Great job on everything, Patti! Is that harpist also a TH-camr?
She has a channel for her harp duo, Beyond Pluck, if you wanna check it out! th-cam.com/users/beyondpluck
Beautiful!
