Someone commented on my last FF video, asking if I was going to do anything special for the FFVII Remake - you better believe it! I have at least 3-4 FF7 vids planned for this year, and this is the first! I thought it would be best to release it while it's still winter time :)
When I was homeless for a while, I had a litle MP3 player that i'd have a few songs on like this to help me relax. The song I would only play is this one, because every day was Cold. It kept my mind in a state in which the cold didn't bother me, but would only play it at night so I could fall to sleep. There is an unmatched love for this piece that I sincerily appreciate you taking the time to remaster. Thank you so much.
Pretty sure you only hear it in the snow village by the Northern crater. And since it's an area with other people, you won't have to worry about getting into any battles.
@@Noel_2478 It also plays in Great Glacier. If you're going around the maze to get all of the items and secrets you're gonna hit a LOT of really jarring encounters. 😆 But yes, it also plays in the village. 😊

This song is kinda sad. This is the Icicle Town theme and there once lived Prof. Gast Gainsborough and her beloved Cetra, Ifalna, Aerith's mother. What happened to them was so tragic. :'( We won't hear this theme until next part tho.

How gorgeous! I love the winter imagery alongside the fireplace with the music. All your little orchestration techniques are great too, utilizing lots of strings techniques - something I've loved about all your arrangements! Excited for more FFVII even though I've never played the game :)
Can I maybe hope one day for a cover of "The Nightmare Begins" Vincent's theme? There's just no violin cover of it around yet I think it'd do fantastic, especially the last phase :D Thank you for this wonderful cover anyway, not many people like niche ff7 music or do covers of them and I'm really elated. I absolutely love your vibrato and emotions on your violin. (Also the pictures ^^)

I really fell in love with that one. I feel like from a violinist perspective it's so blissful to listen to. I hope you are doing well rn. Also if you don't mind, did you start playing piano or violin? I've got really soft fingers from playing piano and for me violin is really difficult but I feel it's good for getting better at recognizing notes by ear. Anyway I like both of your playstyle so much lots of vids (special mention for Blinding light and omg Costa too- my mother spams this one, and Esper), it's exactly what I want to aim someday
