I can hear the swell of the ocean, and the lapping of the waves on the shore. I can hear the sunset as it scatters its light on the water's surface, twinkling in the distance and gilding golden waves. I feel the warmth as the water touches my toes. When Ms. Shimomura made this song, it was so tied to the water that the waves in the background track were almost imperceptible to me, it just so perfectly conveys the serenity of the ocean at its calmest. I love how much the strings bring that out, I could hear the water like I was feeling it with all my other senses. Your playing was emotinal, and it I loved every bit, it made me emotional too. I honestly feel that maybe in a century, they'll see Ms. Shimomura's careful and loving work the way we look at the masters of Classical Music. And your rendition, as always, does the original compositions great justice.

Love how it really starts to “float” from 1:31-2:02 and the develops into the passage from 2:54-3:29. Like someone else already said “Your style of arrangement is So expressive” while you Always stay true to the original... “intent of context” If you will. Thank you for sharing your very talented and unique viewpoints of these memories throughout the years.
