Anxiety is a thing everyone experiences. Before an exam, a public performance, or a date... It's only a pathology if it interferes with your ability to function and live your life, if you get it in moments that don't "make sense" or without any logical explanation.

@@ay_azulita oh yea I understand. that much, but I guess what I actually meant was that I've come to realize that mostly everyone is dealing with some type of mental illness. Some are aware of it and some aren't due to ignorance and lack of awareness mostly.

That's a modern world shit where we become so preoccupied with what others do ( while we don't even want to work ) and all that free time doing nothing becomes anxiety, depression, bla bla.
Not many hardworking people from the countryside or peasants must have committed suicide for stupid reasons that we are used to, not many of them even have depression because they are raised to work and to mind their own business. The more we evolve and we start working less, the more we start to "think" and the wrong way of thinking becomes depression and so on. So yeah, modern society made us these pussies that are depressed and can't do shit, but also this society can be our dreamlife.

I just woke up from a coma. After an honorable career in the US Army, I took a wrong turn. Instead of opening up and talking about the demons that linger from combat, I chose to dull those tender nerves with pills and alchohol. I lost my family, my home, automobile, driver's license and honor because I didn't seek help. No, things aren't back to normal yet but after working and saving every cent for 6 months (which isnt easy being a disabled veteran) I have gotten my license back and a roof over my head. I still have no clue what new career I might pursue but at least the worst part is over and I started talking. Thank you Alexander for opening up and Biting the Bullet for letting us in. It helps more than you know. Now finish the fight. Sua Sponte'

Addiction is a real thing and wants to take us down....but the real winner is that recovery is possible. His last words “it gets better” is very true. Iam not lying this video was recommend to me the day i had to make a voice about going to rehab or not, call my psychiatrist or not and now iam convinced that that video or the world wanted to tell me something. I normally don't believe in faith or whatever but what are the odds. I'am going to rehab today thank you for making my choice easier

Alexander I’m happy to have found this video. I just finished the final episode on Vikings tonight. I am a big fan of your role as Bjorn Ironside. I found your country song which led me to this video and it’s helpful. I’m contemplating letting go of my old ways and starting a new. I appreciate your words of wisdom thank you.

It's so amazing to see and hear about someone completely turning things around for themselves like he has. I'd never know this about him or even suspect it if he hadn't been willing to expose the worst parts of his life and himself like this. Kudos to you! And it is true, anyone can do it, you just have to want it bad enough!

Thank you. It is so hard to find people of any age, but especially young, who are willing to pause and shift and be aware of their inner demons. It is hard to start looking at your fears in the face. It is the hardest to continue working over and over and over again, being consistent. letting go, growing. This is what people need in life. I am so glad to hear that there are influential people like you who have done this and who have made amazing strides. Yes. Go you. Keep going.

Wow. I'm blown away by his wisdom and grace in dealing with his addiction, the self reflection and work that went into getting to where he is now is very admirable. This video has helped me understand the addicts and recovered addicts in family. What he said about it impacting loved ones and how we are all humans with our own issues had me in tears. Thank you for doing this. Much love and respect ❤️
