  • WHAT I EAT IN A WEEK | WHAT'S FOR DINNER?!
    This week was a hot one so I tried to use as little heat as I could and I think I got some pretty yummy meals in the meantime!
    MONDAY:
    *Asiany Noodle Salad:
    -Cabbage: shredded
    -Carrots: shredded
    -Green onion: chopped
    -Noodles (whatever kind you like!): cooked and cooled
    -Steak (optional)
    *Sauce: I did not measure any of this, I just went by taste
    -Soy sauce
    -Sesame oil
    -Rice vinegar
    -Pinch of sugar
    -Salt and pepper
    -Japanese BBQ sauce
    -Drizzle of vegetable oil
    -Ginger: finely chopped
    TUESDAY: Fancy Herby Egg Salad
    -Hard boiled eggs
    -Chives: chopped
    -Parsley: chopped
    -Cornichons: chopped
    -Mayonnaise
    -Salt and pepper
    WEDNESDAY: Cheeseburgers
    -Cook them how you like them!
    THURSDAY: Slice of Costco pepperoni, lemonade, and large delicious cookie.
    FRIDAY:
    *Chicken:
    -Bone in/Skin on chicken thighs
    -Olive oil
    -Salt, pepper, onion powder, and onion powder.
    -Cook at 375F for 35-34 minutes depending on the size of the thighs, but they are thighs, you really can't overcook them. Broil at the end for a minute to crisp the skin even more!
    *String Beans:
    -Green beans
    -Garlic: chopped very fine
    -White vinegar
    -Olive oil
    -Salt and pepper
    -Trim the beans, boil until desired doneness, drain, and place into a large bowl. In this order, put in the garlic, salt, pepper, and vinegar right away and mix. Then put in the olive oil, mix again. Let sit at room temp or in the fridge for a couple of hours at least for best results, mix intermittently!
