I met Prika few times in some shows in Europe and she was always super lovely and spend a lot of time with the fans.
She is a genius musician and one of the best riff maker and now one of the greatest singer!! I'm super excited to listen the new album. Long live to Nervosa!

Nervosa overcame a turbulence process that almost carried the band to extinction. This band had that be rebuild, and her Prika Amaral took the band of limb;it was possible due your intelligence and far-sight.

I have looked forward to this release for a while now, barely a week left.
On the note of things going wrong on tour, remember what I said about O´Toole😂

Dave Mustaine is the GOAT of band line ups. She should have his number for future reference.

I really love this in-depth interview a lot (thanks and congrats Jasper!), giving insights not only in the music part of the band but beyond that, and also personally what Prika and the difficult challenges she has faced are concerned. I met Prika a few times and she is a most humble and super friendly artist, always with two feet on the ground, amazingly talented, and as this interview shows again, a very wise person. I love her mindset a lot, and I have huge respect for her music talent and professionalism, and for her as person. I can’t wait to hear the new album Jailbreak, and I’m pretty sure that with the new line-up and with two guitars and Prika on vocals, and the three singles released already which I love a lot, this will be the best NERVOSA album ever. Good luck and all the best NERVOSA! 🤘🏼

ehhhhhhh, I am not so sure about inexperience for all of them. Their bassist Mia is a vet. She's toured with Abbath. I am not so convinced entirely. Plus their former drummer says there are OTHER reasons. Considering she loves Dave Mustaine so much, it isn't a far stretch she emulates him in many ways. I would say just tell it like it is. She's hard to work with. Its not necessarily a bad thing. Her goals and drive is something that requires a certain person to be compatible with.

I think you are not well informed...
Mia is not a vet, she is a teacher, and she didn't leave Nervosa. They never announced that she was out and she played few shows this year.

You right, as Prika said, each one figured out their issues.... Prika is the only constante member since ever. Start, keep a band in Brazil is not easy my friend, you have to work and have your band ASIDE, as a "maybe fantasy really", not structure and festivals and venues in all whole country for Metal. Way expensive to go tour in Europe for a brazilian band (South Americans in general). AND if we do not tour in Europe, AT LEAST (not even considering USA), to do the Summer Festivals season in Europe nobody will know you. List for me 10 bands from Brazil that you know.
We have a extra ticket that costs +/- 800 euros today Britth Airways, US$848
One brazilian has the right to get a minimun wages in a month, its is in 2023 by law US$264, so if a lucky one has 3x this income 700, its the whole wages in a ticket and in the other hand, a ticket today Britsh Airlines London to L.A. CALIFORNIA is US$494.
      Quite diferent realities.
What Prika and Fernanda did with Nerova and now what both did again, releasing fucking great albums (Crypta Shades Of Sorrow) and Nervosa Jailbreak - i've heard today) is something to take your hats off. I take my for both and for each one brazilian musician or band that, once or do that, MY HAT OFF.
      Prika is badass as hell
Even the demo you can tell they come noy to joke around anf here she is, kicking asses globally!!!
      Nervosa/Crypta!!!

Didn't you notice that Mia was taken out of the description in the bio? She only played once or twice this year and because they were just playing in Italy, after that they never said anything about Mia playing any other event. Prika is NOT going to announce her departure officially because it would be a laughing stock again, they are just going to let time pass until people forget that Mia was ever in the band.
Think: If Mia is still in the band why didn't she record the bass? Notice that on the album they don't mention either of the two bass players who are supposedly in the band!!! 🤡🤣

A lot is already said here before, I just want to add that I also believe Prika, however, I think she did not express herself very clearly when she said "they did not have experience with touring", but further in the conversation you can understand that she meant to say "experience with touring so intensively" If you see the touring schedules from Nervosa (and e.g. Crypta), they are literally always on tour. They do the places European bands do, plus, they tour a huge country as Brasil and play in other Latin American countries, where not a lot of European bands from that level are touring. Diva Satanica never left, or had plans to leave her band Bloodhunter, but how she can combine both bands, if for one you are all year around touring, jump afterwards in a studio to record a new album, and you're gone again for another year? Also concerning Mia and Eleni this explanation makes sense, Mia wanted more time closer with family and friends, and Eleni found in Ankor a band that plays also internationally, but, like most European bands from that fame, with a touring schedule that's a lot less intense. I also had my doubts about Prika before, but what she says in this interview makes perfectly sense. So for now huge RESPECT for Prika from my side.
