Soom, you need to set the toggle to “On” in the bottom right for the game to ask you to activate something at the start of the Draw/Standby Phase. The “Auto” setting doesn’t usually do that. To enable switching between Auto, On, and Off, you can change the settings during a duel with the top left icon - go to Duel > Activation Confirmation > Switch.

Soom there is a toggle button for actions and if you switch it on it allows you to use compulse in standby

tbh i play yugioh in this exact moment on 2013 you play six sam, and i felt that when you said "this is OG yugioh, fun time to play"
honestly he could have activated Compulsary during standby phase but since this is his first time playing master duel he doesnt know he has to change the activation setting from auto to on. Sam didnt even tell him about it.. rip lol

Ok allow me to explain why Sam took battle damage and lost the first duel it's because he activated double-edged sword it summons two six samurai's in the graveyard right? But it also has a down side when it's the end phase they both get destroyed and he take damage equal to those destroyed monsters thus he lost the duel
So my question is if he let the MF go through would he still take the damage? And even if he did he'd still probably live
Backs To The Wall is one hell of a card. It's one of my favorites in my Six Samurai deck. It either comes in clutch and you look like a galaxy brain bad ass OR it back fires on you and makes you look like a doofus lol. Just gotta play it with Solemn Judgement for safety.
It will also help you activate a special trap card that gives the opponent depression thy name is the six Shinobi

Game 1: Double Edge Sword Technique: Target 2 "Six Samurai" monsters in your GY; Special Summon those targets in Attack Position. During the End Phase of this turn, destroy them, and if you do, take damage equal to those destroyed monsters' ATK.
Sam when you use Double-Edged sword it is a WW2 Kamikaze attack with a Burn = to the full ATK of both samurai at turn's end
Duel night style is still unbeatable but would like to see more

So basically, When you activate Double-Edged, the 2 special summoned monsters will be destroyed at the end phase, and when that happens, you'll take their *combined* ATK as damage. This is why it's called "Double-Edged"

for fun i tried to make a deck that focused on everything i summoned had the effect of destroy all other cards black rose dragon, the follow up synchro that banishes it, an evil swarm lvl 4 xzy monster the follow up Zeus speedroid kitedrake, raigeki, duster, dark hole, witches strike, tachyon chaos hole. couldn't craft all the cards >.>
