I am originally from Minnesota so I am all too familiar with the cold and snow. Your travels between Manitoba and Brainerd bring back good memories when I use to visit northern MN. I like Canada. It’s a nice country to visit.

Here in the US, you can get a cdl and drive at 18, but you can’t leave the state until you’re 21 that’s what I’m doing down here in Texas right now.

In Minnesota they call soda, Pop. In Wisconsin they call water fountains, bubblers Language is constantly evolving There is a big blue line around the state of Minnesota, but yeah You are our neighbor Canada. Canadian Hockey is pretty awesome, too Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for the road trips

We used to live off I-57 & I-80. Now we live in Bristol. I-80 between Harlem & Calumet can be brutal at rush hour. My grandfather drove a truck from the mid 30's to the early 70's. 705 IBT.

dbl clutch Ron, i used to go the same way as you are. i mainly tried to go past chicago around 3 to 4 am. an lg amount of big rigs going past there. I know it depends on your timing. have a good ride, be safe.
Wise man to strive to become debt free. You will feel fantastic when you reach that goal.

In the states it was originally called "soda-pop" then to each its own you shortened it to either soda or pop. And on saving money .eliminate renting boats, Tim Hortons, and tattoos. (One tattoo's fine). And Canadian tire. You always spend around $300 per visit. SORRY it's just tough love. SAFE TRAVELS PAL 🙏
thanksfor another awsome video josh,wow minus 30 to 40,i reckon that would kill me,the coldest ive been in was growing up on the family farm in northern New South Wales in Australia, ,in winter in would get down to minus 2 5tho minus 5 and i thought that was cold but where i live now in tropical northern Queensland it doesnt get into single figures in winter very much and can reach 50 degrees celcius at times in winter,keep the awsome videos coming mate it,s always great to see your beautiful country and to see how the canadian trucking industry is run compared to the industry here

You mentioned being aggressive in paying off debt. To help achieve that, Have you considered selling your camper trailer next Spring? If not, any particular reason?
Josh just get your own pressure washer to take care of old Blue. Get one with an inductor to use degreaser or even wax application 😊. The best is a steam washer but they are spendy.

Hey Josh. I'd suggest going to Home Depot and get a polisher. Then, during the winters, you can still clean ole Blue up a bit. It may not be as good and the pros, but it would still shine. I was hoping that maybe in an upcoming video, you could tell us a bit more about Blue. Things like Model (W900, W900B, W900L), what speed transmission you got. What the ratio on Blue? Ya, I'm kinda nerding out trucker style, I admit it lol. Also, what equipment are you running for a GPS and Dashcam? I've been off the road now for some time now (Tore my rotator cuff when I was with Big Freight and had some family issues to take care of) but hope to be back on the road again in January. Not sure with what carrier just yet. Might run in to you on the highway one day (Not literally of course).
Josh, how do you spell touque or touk? Hey as a Canadian living in the USA I still say Canadian Football is tougher than the NFL. 3 downs for 10 yards not 4 😅. Just my opinion if you own a truck you should be spending 3 or 4 hrs a week in your shop washing greasing and doing preventative mtce on your trk not just park and go home

Josh quick question, how many times have you ever had to chain up your truck? I mean in the Midwest it's flat for the most part,a few rolling hills. Now western Alberta and BC with the rockies or the Cochahala heck i cant spell it. I never have seen you chain up.😊
Josh did on trip number 29 day 10. That was 10 years ago! I remember that one! LOL
Well I can't speak for anyone else, but in my 13 years OTR I chained up one time. That was in driving school lol. On the road I always watched the weather. Raining at the bottom means snow on the top. I'd rather stay warm at the truck stop instead of chaining up just to get shut down on the top of the Coquihalla or any other mountain pass. But I always had chains just in case. Sometimes you can't avoid it. I've been lucky and hope to keep it that way lol.
I can't remember the last time I chained up. If it's bad enough to chain, I park it till morning
