Such a positive doctor you are..
When you speak we already start recovering faster than ever
I have urinary prob.after hysterectomy but already i have chronic anal fissure now a days im facing these type of problem don't no wat i do? I visited my dr but she didn't reply me satisfactory answer
@@ansarifood9588me also same problem what I do brother how to solve 😢😢😢😢😢😢
Thanks for this video! I had a low internal hemorrhoid removed and after I felt the pain all the way in the privates. Took me a LONG time to realize how much damage tight/spasming rear muscles were doing! You are the only doc I’ve seen talk about this. Relaxation is key!
Thanks for this video. This is a question I have wanted to ask for a while. Appreciate it! Plus, you made me laugh (which is great because I just finished week 1 post hemorrhoid surgery). Thanks for the care and professionalism you put into your work. You are making a difference.
Hey Doc . I think u are the best
Lovely attitude. I can see u treat others with respect, including your co workers no matter their title .. we need more Doctors like you. Stay humble❤❤
Thank you dear Dr. Chung for solving this mystery that has bothered me for decades. No wonder I've always had difficulty urinating whenever hemorrhoidal issue arises.
Ever since I had been using, with suggestion from your and my GP, miralax has kept me free from butt issues for more than 8 months & counting; and it used to be a once-every-other-month problem for me.
Thanks be to God for your videos. I wish my doctor would do 1/2 the work you do to analyze and explain all the things you cover.
Dont you just love it when someone's on your wave length??
Thanks Dr Chung...you are something elsexxx
I want to give you a million hugs and as many thanks for having this channel, I have learned so much from this channel. You are kind, smart and super informative and I have found so much relief with my anal fissures because of this channel and the cream you promote it has helped me more than anything i was doing before with my proctologist. I can go 1-2 months without any symptoms/flares which is huge for me. I have a routine in place and I am glad I found you. Thank you again for all that you do. ❤
As a urologist i concur that the urinary and GI systems affect each other. Great video and love the special effects!
👋🏼 I've also tried explaining to my Mom that UTIs can cause your mind to do weird things. Do you agree? If so, why is this? If you don't mind or have time answering. Thank you! 😊
Why can't Drs be aware of this and treat accordingly, I'm slowly dying from Drs not listening or caring, full of stool and urine and look 70 lbs
For me this video means a lot ….as a woman……😢 sigh. We women are never sure if this problem is a UTI, or interstitial cystitis….or cancer, because that is what doctors tell us! So ridiculous….. thanks for explaining so much …so we can actually learn! And, not be afraid. 💜
I was supposedly told interstitial cystitis too, never had urinary problems, suffer from slow bowel movement/constipation and am dealing with an external hemorrhoid. I hope it’s my butt problems that caused my urinary symptoms
@@hearthrawb8452me also same issue what I do this
Everything you said resonates with me.
Thanks for the video!! Could you please do a video on hypotonic and hypertonic muscles when it comes to fissure & whats considered normal, surgery, etc. Appreciate it!!
Thank you DR,, interesting as I have both issues.
This explains so much.
Yea man!!!! More people need to know this. Thank you that you exists you must be the most knowledgeable doctors on this. Time and time again you prove you really understand these issues.
I have weaker tighter urine stream since my bum issues.
My poo also cuts off sometimes mid movement. Do you have any tips for the bit that feels left over? Cause I can’t always get it to come out and it burns and irritates and makes spasms last way longer than if I get a more proper emptying?
I'm working on this topic!
@@yourfriendlyproctologist thank you!! Over hear in the UK sometime they will give a little irrigation device but even some CRS have no idea what I’m even talking about.
I agree with the dr. I had a fissure ectomy and sphincterotomy about 15 years ago bc pain so bad all I could do was lay in bed for 7 hours a day till pain from Bm wore off. It did help for a while, but not long-term. The recovery was also brutal. I made also major diet changes, and stopped drinking coffee, which did help. But here I am 15 years later with flare ups and my poop is like the size of a pencil just like Dr says so it doesn’t really fix it. After watching these videos I’m considering pelvic floor therapy. My surgeon was just going to do another procedure but I’m like why would I do that it didn’t work.
I did stapled Haemorrhoidectomy 3 weeks ago. i am 37 years old.
I was discharged from the same day after the surgery and was not informed that there's possibility that i wont be able to pee easily.
On the day i was discharged, i was not able to pee and it was about 10 Hours later. I got really worried as my bladder was really full.
I call tje hospital and they recommended me to go back to the emergency department probably need to use catheter. which is what i dont wish to happened.
I felt my pelvic area (rectum) was really full/pressured. But after taking a slow walk to the hospital. The pressured/fullness seems slightly improved. I tried my luck and went to pee before i register myself at the hospital emergency department. Thank god i managed to pee though the stream was slow .
I wished my doctor told me this and give me some tips before the surgery. And this video definitely help people out there.
Thank you for your video doctor Chung.
Now you better what to do me also same problem
When I had banding done only way could pee was in Sith bath for few months as banding made everything worse. 13years later every time I get a flare up still only way can pee or have bowel movement is in Sith bath. But doc is spot on
This makes so much sense and I was wondering if this was the reason….😝
Man i totally agree every time my fissure get inflamed my urine comes out slower
It's a very difficult condition and came out of nowhere. Yes it's a lot going on. Very difficult to cope with . I'm still waiting for a consultant to see me 10 months on.
Hello now you feel better and peeing what is the secret please tell me
They are absolutely related. When my gut flares , so does my IC bladder. And as a 5 year old, i had an inguinal hernia, a part of my intestine broke off....at FIVE ?! Yeah, thats also more common for boys rather than girls, due to anatomy. I have to wonder if theyre related.
Oh another symptoms of this is, you pee and think you’re done. Pants up few steps out the bathroom little bit more comes out few drops usually. So frustrating! I think the muscles relaxes more as I walk away and that’s why. Heard others with anus pain say it happens to them also
Now you feel better what is the solution please tell me brother same pee not coming out please tell me
When having residual feces or stool still in the rectum channel and colon channel I have notice it will put pressure on my bladder and prostate to urinate in very small amounts. When there is not residual feces or stool in the rectum channel or colon like when having diarrhea, I don't have any pressure on my bladder or prostate to have the urge to urinate in very small amounts. What is the correct medical term for this medical necessity is called?
Hey suffering from the same , did you get an answer ??
@@exploringnaturalbeauty2102 no the Dr on this YT hasn't responded back to me but I have heard it corn syrup that is irritating the bladder lining. I don't know what to take to clean out corn syrup

Love your channel! Thanks! Can you please for a video on children poo withholding? Specifically about giving it to kids even though mirilax says only for 18 years of age and older. Also any other tips and insight you can share on kids and poo withholding. Thanks
I'm specialized with adults, so your pediatrician would be a better source.
😊 I thought that's why I have trouble urinating from damn hemorrhoids yes after I go poop hemorrhoid flare up and hard to urinate Dr chung absolutely and during the day when the hemorrhoid goes down it's easy TO URINATE

@@eddiemautone209what I do me also suffering urine rentation please tell me
Dr chung, so is this all in the mind ?? Is there any solution to this ? I have this issue u described. For some reason its taking a while to relax the system. I have not had pain for maybe 10 months. Everything is healed, but i feel that there is a clenching in this area as you describe
It's not all in the mind. check out some of my vids on anal spasm.
@@yourfriendlyproctologist ok will do.. im kind of hoping for a solition.
Can kegels exercise worsen the fissure ?
Good question!
Yah during my flareup, i didnt have the urge to go, but i knew I had to. Like id wake up in the middle of the night.... and could go back to sleep..... then id go and set on the tiolet and wooshhhhh. A whole bladder full
Hi doc. I have some white tiny bump like pimples around anus after some anal fissures. Those r itchy sometime. Is that normal or serious? Pls answer.
I have urinary retention my urologist say it cause constipation
yep!
I too, have urinary retention which causes the frequency and occasional unpleasant spasms.
@@amydavidvalhi Amy me also suffering urine rentation anal fissure three month before now I facing please tell how to overcome
@cmaSrinathP I'm trying pelvic floor physical therapy but help seems only temporary and tnen I get these annoying mini spasms like four days post pt. Also the stretches really bothered my sciatica for a few months.
@@amydavidvalnow you peeing
Weird question, can gentle sexual intercourse or orgasm help the pelvic floor relax?
Also, pelvic floor physical therapy and deep breathing really helped me with all this, and helped me heal fissures and hems as well. It’s all connected! Luckily my colorectal doc told me that pelvic floor tightness can create or worsen all these things. He’s good, like you! Thank you for all you do!!!!
Doctor, I need a good dr like you . I know that my question is not related to this video, but I saw a video of yours that you posted a year ago about tailbone pain. It was great. I thought I would write my question in a comment in your most recent video. sometimes suddenly the tailbone hurts so badly that I vomit or pass out. Sometimes it develops into diarrhea because of the severity of the pain. The pain lasts for a minute or two. And when there is pain, I have to push the top of the anus inside because of the pain. The time period between separate episodes of pain is up to several months. The x-ray is normal, as the doctor told me. What is the reason, please? Please answer.thank you.ooh I pushed it inside with my finger, as you said in the video, after a few minutes it hurt, but it was not severe
**NEED HELP***
I am 26yr old girl.. i had Spincterotomy (LIS) surgery for anal fissure on 25th may now i see that there's some skin pealing off around anus it's like a thin thread type skin coming out.. what's that? should i leave it or consult surgeon.. surgery was without stitches.
I've been dealing with chronic itching and irritating tingles for months. Would methylene blue numb and cure my anus?
it might, but that is a last resort. I suggest seeing a specialist to get some recommendations!
I was made to wait six months from the initial flare up until my consultation with a colorectal surgeon. I had a fissure, thrombosed hemorrhoids, and spasms in all of the perineal area from the pubic bone to the anus. Extremely painful and disabling.
Doctor said fissure appears to have closed/healed. However, I still have a lot of pain after using the restroom. I have spasms. I have a constant burning sensation. I have also been using nifedipine for 4 months, why am I still having this much pain if the fissure is resolved according to the doctor who performed an anoscopy and a digital exam?
It has been many months and everywhere I read the resolution of fissures happens within 12 weeks. Am I the only one in this predicament? Can you please make a video for patients like me? I’ve tried to do everything right but am still in a lot of pain.
I had a similar problem. The burning seemed to go away after I stopped using creams/ointments in that area. In my case they seemed to aggravate things but that’s just me.
@@Dee-s1t Thank you for sharing. What type of creams were causing your burning?
Look into TMS, maybe your brain remembers the pain, despite fissure is healed
@@innakhesin6145100%!!!! Dr. Sarno! The pelvic floor is TMS!
@@Dee-s1tsame for me , was using nefidipene .2 %, helped a lot at first, then started to feel very warm tingling sensation around anus. Stopped using pea size amount and just used like match head amount, then it kinda went away.
