I was diagnosed with IBS-A 7 months ago based on my symptoms, I would only get ibs flare ups after experiencing new routine changes or during stressful periods. Thanks to my health related anxiety and the internet, unfortunately last month I noticed bloody mucus on stool twice back to back and went on a panic mode, visited my doc got the tests and they came back normal. Well you guessed it right, I wasn't satisfied so I pushed my doc to book me in for a colonoscopy and he did. Just got it done yesterday, and I'm feeling so relieved... Fortunately they found nothing but inactive piles and officially diagnosed IBS. I think 90 percent of the time small or moderate red bleeding is associated with piles so don't worry...

Thanks for this information! It’s comforting to hear that the statistics for the percentages of “dire” problems like cancer are quite small! SUGGESTION: please differentiate between internal HR which bleed and exterior HR that bleed in future presentations. I wish you lived closer as I would go see you in a flash. It is difficult to find a colorectal surgeon or a proctologist here. On your recommendation I would want one of those type docs over a gastroenterologist. Thank you for all your videos❤️ You and your videos have been a wonderfully helpful and supportive!

What a nice guy with great advice, this Dr. Chung. Thanks for your positive advice. Because I was panicking with the pain I had of a fissure. I went to a cruel negative proctoligist here in Belgium. Ooooh man he was talking about an operation. And if the operation wouldn't be a succes ... like incontinence.... that would be my problem he said. But the chance was small..... After a visit to this proctoligist I was totally overwelmed with fear. After seeing this video I ordered Pranicura. It took 5 weeks before I received the 3 units. Now I am using Pranicura. It's a relief. No more pain. Thank god. In the meantime I am looking for a proctologist like Dr. Chung here in my country.

I can say I went to the toilet the other day and when I stood up there was quite a bit of blood in the toilet. It did feel as if my stool had a sharp bot it it on the way out. I almost fainted when I seen it. Called NHS 24 and they managed to calm me down. Admittedly my fist thought was cancer after searching online. Went for a no#2 the next day and everything was clear

Iris, Get tested to rule out other causes and agree to the procedure. Take your life back. Don’t spend your remaining years in mysery and poor health when it’s totally unnecessary. I’m 65 and have had two Cologuard tests. As long as there are no other indications many Dr’s feel that type of test is sufficient. Unfortunately Cologiard does NOT test for Anal Cancer but even a colonoscopy is not terrible. It’s easy to rule out cancer these days! You can do this 💕

Doc, thank you so, so much for all your videos. I saw a massive amount of blood in the toilet and panicked, hard. I ignored, it but it happened more times. So, I gathered what very little courage I could find and had a colonoscopy. What a process that was, plus never been placed under anesthesia before. The procedure was perfect though. The result? Hemorrhoids. That’s it. So, I purchased PRANICURA! I’ve had tried all different products for my condition and nada. But I’ve been using pranicura and it’s truly THE best product. Thank you so much for looking out for us who struggle and providing the solutions ! God bless.

    1. Breathe.
And now, the steps I suggest :
    2. Assess quantity and color.
    3. Put a feminine hygiene pad in your undies a bit farther back than usual.
    4. If there's a significant quantity, you need a doctor.
Btw, 4 percent is equal to 1 in 25. That's kind of a lot.

I had a colonoscopy and a anonoospy. ( I might of spelled it wrong. ) it's basically the part where they stick a tube down your throat. Anyway. They said there was nothing. Said to stop straining when I use the bathroom and to avoid spicy foods. I been bleeding for over 7 years. I been anemic for the last 6 months. Probably longer. Now the doc wants to do another colonoscopy to see if they missed something and if it's hemorrhoids what they can do to fix it. Man, I just want the bleeding to stop. Thanks

Thought I had something serious because of blood. Realised it was prob hamerroids because several years ago, my doc said I have harmonids after a colonoscopy. Took some hamerroids ointmen. Bleeding stopped immediately and 7 days later. Still no bleeding. Such a Relief😅😅

I think chronic dehydration has been a big part of my problem. When I was a young girl I would brag that I didn’t have to pee all day, thinking I had an awesome bladder. No wonder I ended up with a huge kidney stone in my 30s. Another part of my problem is an unhealthy diet. Broccoli helps me “go” when I can’t. Hopefully it will help you too. The cooked or steamed kind works wonders.

Depends really. If spotting of blood or bumps in the rectal area could indicate haemorrhoids but if constant loss of blood on defecation could indicate more serious pathology
