I just want to thank you for sharing all of the information that you share in your content. If it wasn’t for you sharing the herbal conference I would have never known about the forest garden that has been my backyard for years. I did my first clean up and let’s just say the garden maybe ready for planting in a few weeks. The herbs are currently seeding in small pots so this is perfect timing. Peace and blessings to you. ❤️

Great video. I love seeing other WOC bring it forth in the wellness community. Once your business is registered and you have your EIN etc you should also be able to buy your supplies at wholesale prices. I also find items through freecycle and FB marketplace. Such as the desk, shelving, and canning jars.

Can you please share more info on finding wholesalers for tea, and how to go about getting FDA approved?
The most popular place to purchase herbs from are Startwest Botanicals & Mountain Rose herbs. I plan on doing a video on some vendors in the future.
Also you do not need to be “FDA” approved in order to start selling herbal products since the field is pretty unregulated, however you do need to keep your labels, website, & products “fda compliant”. I package my teas using the supplies mentioned in the video and I ship everything out through my Shopify store. Maybe I will do a video on orders shipping in the future 🙂

Any tips on how you built your clientele and did a turnaround from no sales in the beginning as stated, to booming sales a month and so on later?
Yes! Get out in the community and start selling! It will take you a while to build online clientele and trust, so start going to local farmers markets & do event popups. This is the best way to start making money immediately. Ask them to review your products and ask family & friends. Once you start getting reviews for your products, post them on your social media & you will eventually start to build that trust and get online clients.
