Ok ok. Let me jump in here. You are right that they don't put on sale preorder dlc later. In fact when Sony do that that content is locked and it shows: Unavailable, this is preorder content, so 100% pointless to leave dlc in the store that you cannot purchase later. BUT going back to Atelier games, they give the Dlc for Everyone for 2 weeks for free, no matter if you bought the game or not. That is why I'm not preordering A3 its is pointless. As you see in the video, ONLY digital copy has something actually for preorder, the hats and the staff.
Interesting. I'll have to do some more research on these, but so far the 2 week availability I've seen from the older games are for Early Purchase Bonuses, which is par for the course. If you remember any specific preorders they have done this to, do let me know.

Confirmed the early purchase dlc is free for all again :) For 2 weeks starting today. I guess it's more expensive for them to give codes to every retailer so they just give the dlc as gift for everything thru the digital store.
So can you get the full Atelier Ryza experience? Yes! All you have to do is buy the super special deluxe premium edition in the Japanese Region, preorder it for the early adopter's bonus, have saves from multiple different other games, and use a console instead of a PC because... who knows. ... I sometimes hate what we've become. Humanity was a mistake.
I do think it's a joke line while accessible means you have to work your butt for it. Nevertheless I can just go sail the seven seas after buying the game if I can't get those outfits

I hate this system. All dlc costumes should he made avaliable for purchase separately at some point. These practices basically punish anyone who wants to pick up a physical copy of the game. Not cool in my opinion.

For the Sophie outfit, do you need to have a save file after beating the game or just any save file? I have Atelier Sophie 2 but I haven't started it yet. So can I just load the game create a save file and then I can get the outfit in Atelier Ryza 3?
I know I’m too late now for any of this. But the Japanese version also requires you to have the Japanese versions for Ryza 1&2 and Sophie 2 to have compatible save files. And none of these 4 games (yes including Ryza 3) has English for the Japanese release. They all just in Japanese, as per usual with KT. So unless you can read Japanese this is a very theoretical thing.

Summer Look set of 7 is NOT currently on The Ryza 3 Steam version, even under Ultimate. Might also be missing the 3 accessories. Might be missing the marine outfit as well... And 6 t-shirt set ALSO missing! This is not looking good for "Ultimate" at all

I'm not sure if I missed anything but is the 'back to summer' and 'another look' costume set only available if I buy the digital deluxe version of the game? I've bought the Collection Box and wanted to know if its possible to get these costume sets in the future as currently I only have access to the costume sets that will be in the season pass as well as the preorder bonus set.
There's no need to rush you can pre-order the standard edition of the game, according to this video you can still get all the costumes up eventually and some free.
@@eileen88 lol cool beans, I didn't even though I pre-ordered it via play-asia they promised me the pre-order bonus content and then said they ran out of stock, what is the point in pre-ordering allocating all units for pre-order then send me nothing? lol I stopped using play-asia since then, cut them off for good, at least when i order via Amazon if the bonus content not there, they give me full refund and let me keep the standard game edition. Amazon ftw. The sad thing is I was the one that told play-asia that the game is released with pre-order bonus content and linked them all the developer info before they put it up on the store. Had it not been for me they wouldn't have been able to allocate that amount for pre-orders. Good thing they secured my pre-order version too ¬_¬;
A standard physical edition would at least give you the Summer Costume set if you get it within the Early Purchase period. And maybe the Marine Look of Kurken Shore Costume and 6 T-Shirt Set if they go through with giving it for free later.

The pricing on these games is insane. I've just replayed The Witcher 3 complete edition and that game had also a season pass with like 40-50 hours of gameplay. This games (wonderful games) have 45 euro/dollar season passes filled with cosmetic crap and ridiculously short new missions. That's completely absurd. Why someone would buy a 45 buck season pass of this type is beyond me. Oh, and not to speak of the horrendous practice of NOT including some costumes with the physical limited edition. Yeah, cause that one is too cheap, so...
Come on, why would they release this on the same day as Resident Evil 4 remake that puts in a huge predicament. And I hope those T-shirts come out for free soon because Japan is lucky to have those for variant reasons. But it looks like I'll have to pre-order a bit early then I planned.

For ANY given game the ONLY GOOD DLC is the PAY To win ones ie lv ups/good items to start the Costume based DLC sucks and DLC for party members NOT gotten in game normally isn't worth its cost either.

Yeah those two costume sets are only on Digital Deluxe and Ultimate Edition/DD with Season Pass.
