This was so cool to see. The newspaper custom print fabric was probably my favorite thing to see. Also kudos to you lt efforts to reduce and reuse throughout this project. Idk who started it, but I've seen different creators experimenting with 3D printing on mesh fabric and creating wearable armor/scales. That might be a cool idea for your next project. Happy Holidays!
Yes, sewing such a dress is a huge job, by the way, I also made a Cruella dress, in which she climbs onto the roof of the car th-cam.com/users/shortsGZzjpNag7hE?feature=share
If you’re making stuff with 3D printers soon, I have a suggestion for you: Did you know that you can print on fabric? I’ve been making some cool moving fantasy armour with that technique. You need some sort of pattern of extruded hexagons, circles or other shapes to look like scales or fangs. Then you print the first few layers, pause it and tape down a piece of mesh fabric before resuming printing. In the end it the armour will move with your body, looks so cool!
Shay is just so inspirational; every time I watch one of her videos I always get into that creative feeling. I feel like she could be everyone’s best friend, she’s just always so positive and happy.
The details and thought put into all your designs a is so truly incredible. I lice been following your channel for a while and you’ve just gotten better and better; and I thought it would be impossible considering how amazing your first few were. You’re so talented!!
Can we just appreciate how she has the time to make a video, make the dress, and do other things under 3 months. Can we also appreciate how beautiful these dresses she makes?
I'm glad you aren't afraid of learning new techniques and these two seemed to go off without issues. When you said trash dress, I did wonder what sort of "trash" it was going to be. It didn't dawn on me that it would be fabric scraps.
The tiny details just brings this to life if that makes sense. I love how much work you put into all of your recreations and ideas. It just shows how much you love what you do and how much fun you're having doing it. That being said this one has to be a masterpiece. From the screen printing to the reusing scraps and even using another dress. I can not express how much I truly loved every step of the journey to make the trash dress
Fabric printing is amazing! Well done!!! AND safety pinning is fully cruelly style anyway! AND THE EMBROIDERY HOOP LABEL PRINTING IS SO SMART!!! I MAY DO THIS IN FUTURE 🤯
This is amazing! As someone who made the military jacket dress (and made real chain epauletts), i appreciate all of the little details and hard work you put in!
Your work is awesome. It really takes a lot of effort to make a dress like this. The Billie ailish dress was fantastic and I really felt bad about cutting the dress but I love each and every thing about all the dresses you have made till now. I appreciate each Detail you put in every dress. We love you. Keep doing work like this.
yes!!! i saw a cool video with 3d printing on fabric, where they print a little bit, then lay the fabric down, then continue printing. you can make super cool scales and textured fabric perfect for cosplay with that technique!
you are a magician...every project you make is something out of this world...the amount of work, the dedication you put in..if there was an Oscar for DYI you would definitely win it!
just a thought: I used Worbla's Cobra cast to iron it into fabric, it makes ist very stiff and able to ignore gravity without loosing flexibility (but it's rather hard to sew more than two layers without bending needles
i LOVE how you always go over the moon with everything you make! your work is so expressive and you’re so open to try new things, its so fun to watch! also i love the dress :)
This project came out so beautifully!! Your insta updates were great, but hearing you talk it through really makes it come alive and helps us to feel your passion! Thank you for making more long form content
This is an insaaane amount of work put into that dress and so admirable. I would love if you could take more time to showcase the dress at the end and all the details. Maybe a close-up slo-mo clip. All this work and the clips go so fast!!
I'm not a "comment-person" but your attention to detail- (also the sacrificial sword sneak peak- another Genshin cosplay perhaps? 👀), I AM LOVING EVERY CONTENT IN THE CONTENT, I appreciate your videos so much, you got me into sewing and I look forward to what your 2023 plans bring! 🫶
She can make anything I’m not even surprised I’m literally Convinced at this point💀 Edit:1 tysm for the likes Edit:2i have never gotten this many likes b4 tysm
I loved this dress! I've watched all your videos and I was really hoping you would be able to make a full in depth tutorial on how to make your Frog Dress and Mushroom Dress! I've finally got the motivation to make these two dresses, but didn't know how to, so I was really hoping you would make a video on how to make these dresses ( no need to rush of course! ) Love your work! ❤
coolest thing i saw recently was 3D printing on fabric to make scales... just you know, for your next project inspiration! :D enjoyed watching this one come together!
Wow!! I'm so impressed that you took the time to make this extravagant gown!! You definitely need to take some time for yourself after creating a masterpiece like this, make sure not to push yourself too much when doing projects!! ❤
Does anyone else love her channel so much like it’s what I watch when I wanna be happy and calm it literally is just such a vibe and a safe space for me :]
You could further cut the base dress to one uniform length and make it a really cute tea-length dress. That coloring would just make a beautiful like spring/summer tea party project.
you know what crescent? I watched the movie for the first time a little days earlier .While seeing it, when I understood cruella is like the experimental cool type of designer I immediately think of YOU! I though that wow cruella is just like crescent! As I knew your channel even before watching the movie. Girl, never post sewing you are our real life CRUELLAAA!
I saw this pop up on my recommended. I didn’t even read the name of the vid I just saw the dress and clicked the video. You are one of my favorite TH-camrs ever!,!

I love our 3D printer! I don't know how to do the actual process (yet) but we've been making modular storage organizers and bead sorting trays. I've been doing a lot with perler beads so sorting several thousand beads daily while watching TV.
I sew and I just want to say the amount of effort you put in each piece it’s just mind blowing. And let’s not forget everything takes twice longer when you have to film the processes. You are incredible ♥️
i love your dresses so much i literally binge watch all your videos. im currently struggling to afford a prom dress and prom is in a month and 3 weeks even though i might not get to go bc i cant afford a dress, watching your videos make me happy and make me see what others may have even if i cant
I, too, measure things in the very professional unit of "mes". My friend asked me recently how thick the snow pile we were standing next to was and i answered with "around 2/3rds of me so about a metre"
I always keep coming back to your videos, and I finally realised why. You are so passionate about these projects that you set such a high standard for yourself. Like printing the newspaper and making the ribbons? Like you could have used the ready made fabric or some random black and white ribbon. Its absolutely amazing :) and v v inspiring.
This is the first time I watch your channel! And can I say you are simply downright adorable!! I love your content and I can’t wait to watch more of it! You’ve got such a lovely excitable vibe with what your creating!
I am crying!!! You are living my dream! And that inspires me to think that nothing is impossible. I love everything about this video! You are my inspiration ❤️ 🥺
You are extremely smart and talented and creative and just wow! I want the 30+ minutes version of this. Amazing outcomes looked exactly like the movie. I don’t even think the movie used real fabric!

What a great video! You’re very talented, can’t wait to see what you make next. I agree, the little details are everything! They can make or break the overall quality and look of a project, especially a recreation. ❤

Fun fact: the iconic trash dress was made up of multiple dresses from the Baronesses old outdated collections, basically a patch work dress
Cool
That is genuinely interesting to me!
It is interesting
Very interesting
Definitely appreciate the effort to reuse older creations despite how painful it was to see you cut up the other dress
I mean if it wasn't being used oh well lol
O it hurts so much to see such a gorgeous dress be turned to that :,) but still her trash dress is amazing

Omg mine too, I´m super curious about printing my own fabric now.

@ci🥂 thank you.. I was just about to ask who did that! Lol
That dress is so beautiful. You are amazing, even from scraps of materials you can make something beautiful.💗

Yes, Devil (let's said Deville) is in the details. It does really matters, so you did great and people who cares noticed and appreciate trully!
I love how you use the seam allowance to make the boning ribbon parts! OMG! It is sooo smart and fabric saving, easier to sew. I just loooove it!
