Old Soil never dies or fades. It just ages well, and progresses. I still like their older work though. This remains to be up there in my top favorite songs of theirs of all time.
It was on a free mix CD in a magazine years ago.. It was also the first song I heard by them.. Thank God for that free cd. This whole album is amazing!
This is the album that introduced me to Soilwork. I listened to it and after a couple listens I put it away can't say I was a huge fan back then. Then about a month ago I was going through my mp3s, hit random to see what would play and I heard this song - 8 years later and I just picked up The Ride Majestic and it is by far one of my favorite albums. Now I'm picking up all the other albums as well. I would rank these guys in my top 5 Swedish/Metal bands of all time.
Please, don't put it into words 'Cause I fear what you're thinking It's gonna make it hurt You better not try to make me Believe in someone new Faithless, on my way Defenseless from my heart, won't you be? Heartless, here with me Breathless, from this night's misery This night will start the exile, run Now, you tell me what it was worth Was it meant to be broken? The circle that wouldn't shed a single tear And now you wanna redirect me From the face of the earth Not willing to share your time Not near, not far I'm just a spectator, once loved Just fear, just scars A sheer introduction to what I've lost, to what I've lost Faithless, on my way Defenseless from my heart, won't you be? Heartless, here with me Breathless, from this night's misery (From this night's misery) One more endless night To notice all the things I have to be Faithless, on my way Won't forgive, from my heart, won't you be? Heartless, here with me Breathless, from this night's misery This night will start the exile, run
Dustin Thompson your explanation makes much more sense than the lyrics, unless i missed a line when he said "give us help or pretty girls will drag our shit"
AFTER FOUR YEARS I HAVE FINALLY FOUND THIS SONG. THANK YOU GOD.... This song helped kept me alive.... I only was able to murmer it but I loved the Lyrics and beat and in Youth boot camp I hummed it every day.... This is MY song and I love it....
+deathbr It's so weird that Sworn came out after three amazingly sounding records with that thin and weak mix. The guitar tone is especially terrible here.
You cannot say you listen to Melo-death without these guys in your playlist.....much respect to soilwork....one of the first bands that pulled me into the realm of real music.
my mate said he like soilwork but dosent really like in flames i was like WTF DUDE THERE BOTH THE BEST BANDS YOU CAN EVER COME ACCROSS! omfg i love soilwork so much!!!! they deserve so much more.
I have been listening to these guys for years and still my favorite, they were the reason I still search for the most epic, mellow, moving metal ever made with a rush of destruction. anyone reading this if need to find bands like this just reply to me I will hlp you find what you are looking for (soothing, relaxed/hard, army, space, one man, You name it!!!)
Faithless On my way Won't forget... From my heart, won't you be Heartless, here with me Breathless, from this night's misery This night will start the exile run... ^Best part of the song.
IMO I like the clean vocal parts in it. He has a good clean vocal, and sounds real catchy. I think songs like this actually describe soilwork as how it is now. I know they used to make more agressive songs but hey, everybody changes over time.
I was just looking at Will Smiths bio and it said, "he is a huge fan of the Swedish well-known (but barely known in the U.S.) melodic heavy metal band Soilwork" I had to look them up, I am hooked, thanks guys!
I know this video is low quality, but every way I’ve listened to this album, including headphones, CD player, laptop, phone speakers... they all sound so messy. The production really puts a damper on this otherwise incredible album. I wish they’d re-record it, like a 2021 version
They are good bands and need no blessings from your imagination. Oh and a point I feel I must make; were it up to fundamental christian values, bands like this would never be able to exist. So the irony of your God comments is not lost on me.
It's awesome that they added singing. The singer needed to make a dynamic change during the songs. I listened to their other songs, and it's mostly screaming without changing the depth of it. It gets dull after a while. Don't get me wrong, I love pure screaming, but only if it's dynamic and interesting. If it's always the same, it gets on my nerves. :)
I didn't know any work by Soilwork after Figure Number Five because I found that one a bit disappointing, probably because I had the stupid expectation of something as great as Natural Born Chaos, but I have to say I'm really enjoying this one. One of the aspects I always liked about Soilwork was that they really know how to be melodic and vibrant and go from that into awesome outbursts of energy. This reminded me how much I like Speed Strid's vocals.
To be a true music lover you should learn to open your mind and enjoy all types of music. You may prefer one genre over another, but in the end all should be appreciated. Even our darkest of Metal can draw its roots back to clasical music.
the first demotapes or albums of underground bands are always the best...wondering why? cause they didnt sign a label deal! They were not told what they have to do! They feel the music! Support underground bands! support us! DIVIDED IN SPHERES.
It makes me proud so see humans 2013 arguing over what others do or don't with their time in life, how other's could've done it better, how others suck for doing what they love doing. What have YOU done in your life? Judging, condemning, ...you will find yourself on your deathbed, wishing you'd spend your time wiser instead of fighting and arguing from your ego with people over something you had no hand in creating in the first place. Use your time wisely.
What Soilwork has become is greatly reflected in the title of their upcoming album - "The Panic Broadcast" "Panic" surely likens them to Panic! at the Disco, while "Broadcast" is an expression of hope that radios will play their songs ;)
People need to stop bitching about how new soilwork sucks compared thier older stuff. If anything i think its a good thing they have change thier sound throught the years, its like havin multiple bands in one a little bit for everyone. A real soilwork fan would appriciate all their music.
Randomly had this song playing in my head and now I am satisfied.
Old Soil never dies or fades. It just ages well, and progresses. I still like their older work though. This remains to be up there in my top favorite songs of theirs of all time.
I like her. She is rescuing amps. I like amps.
😂
The song that introduced me to soilwork. Heard it on Reflex MX vs. ATV. I'm so happy that that amazing game made me find this amazing band.
The first Soilwork song i´ve ever heard, already in love with this band. Thanks Guitar Hero!
It was on a free mix CD in a magazine years ago.. It was also the first song I heard by them.. Thank God for that free cd. This whole album is amazing!
Your profile picture is a curse
@@wfewrestlingfigureentertai7143 Thank you :D
Btw, this song is literally impossible to get 100%. If you hit 975/975 notes, it will still be 99%.
Video quality is amazing! I think it's retro, i can count every damn pixel! Thanks Nuclear Blast!
This is the album that introduced me to Soilwork. I listened to it and after a couple listens I put it away can't say I was a huge fan back then. Draco-X-RPG whoare the other 4
I'm sorry
Sorry to hear that, Figure Number 5 and Stabbing the Drama are objectively better albums.
Soilwork is one of the best bands I have ever heard. Can't wait to see em in Ottawa in March. Cheers from Canada Horns up.
This song never gets old the first time I ever heard this song was on a game which was mx vs atv reflex and started to listen to soilwork ever sense
I think this is one of their best songs. The riff is killer and the vocals are amazing.
Please, don't put it into words
'Cause I fear what you're thinking
It's gonna make it hurt
You better not try to make me
Believe in someone new
Faithless, on my way
Defenseless from my heart, won't you be?
Heartless, here with me
Breathless, from this night's misery
This night will start the exile, run
Now, you tell me what it was worth
Was it meant to be broken?
The circle that wouldn't shed a single tear
And now you wanna redirect me
From the face of the earth
Not willing to share your time
Not near, not far
I'm just a spectator, once loved
Just fear, just scars

This video was sent to the record company as a plea to hire more roadies
I couldn't take this video seriously after i read your post =]
Dustin Thompson your explanation makes much more sense than the lyrics, unless i missed a line when he said "give us help or pretty girls will drag our shit"
This song is a masterpiece, i don't understand how this can have about 700 dislikes..
I agree man...698 dislikes...are u fucking kidding me? Ignorant morons! This is damn good... \>soilwork
religous people who think this is evil :D
because they cant relate to this life
One word, Beliebers...
+2 pac Those who even disliked this song is an exile!

16 years ago I fell in love with this band because of this song lol
The band that got me addicted to metal!
240p we meet again......
😅😅
back in the days it took me hours to load the video. I was so confused. I mean...she is having a snack at 2:20
the guitar tone of this album sucks hard but the songs are soo good
Peter Steiner True Story! But at least it's easy to know what album you're listening to. lol
Peter Steiner wrong
It sounds good lol imo Makes them sound more raw.
Wow why does no one ever recommend me this band and also shadows fall but thank youtube it recommended me such a good band
AFTER FOUR YEARS I HAVE FINALLY FOUND THIS SONG. THANK YOU GOD.... This song helped kept me alive.... I only was able to murmer it but I loved the Lyrics and beat and in Youth boot camp I hummed it every day.... This is MY song and I love it....
sound compressed as fuck hahaha
yeah. sworn is probably their worst album, production wise. the drums sound like dogshit and the guitars are compressed to fuck and back.
dogshit hahahaha....For me, Stabbing the Drama its a reference in production and a masterpiece from Soilwork.
+deathbr
It's so weird that Sworn came out after three amazingly sounding records with that thin and weak mix. The guitar tone is especially terrible here.
Why the fuck does a record company release videos with this crap resolution on TH-cam? Ridiculous..
Eirik Eggen this came out in 2007... do u understand now?
Awake! No, I do not. The technology back in 2007 still wasn't bad enough to justify this.
+Eirik Eggen LOOL They would have to retake the whole video and remake it and "remastering" or "editing" the video won't increase quality
Still bullshit. This isn't that old. Raw photage exists - I seriously hope. Do you really think the original photage looks like this?
+Eirik Eggen Good music quality like this doesn't even need a very good resolution!
just my opinion m8!
I miss this Soilwork's era 🔥🤘🤘
The best Melodic Metal band there is, period!
You cannot say you listen to Melo-death without these guys in your playlist.....much respect to soilwork....one of the first bands that pulled me into the realm of real music.
By far one of the best songs i like for soilwork, I am sure the words in this song, portray the life of many of us.
Hail Soilwork !

omfg i love soilwork so much!!!! they deserve so much more.

Keep on rocking, Soilwork !
The symbol of the music box is 5star for this song. Great job
I would be SO stoked if I ran into a whole studio's worth of music gear that played itself. In a park. Great song!
This was the first song of theirs for me. Funny thing, I don't even consider this in top 15 best Soilwork songs, but it got me into the band.
thank you pandora for playing these guys on my In Flames station hahaha these guys are amazing
Faithless
On my way
Won't forget...
From my heart, won't you be
Heartless, here with me
Breathless, from this night's misery

i just love how people use the comment section for videos to do everything but comment on the video. Great video great song keep up the good work.
IMO I like the clean vocal parts in it. He has a good clean vocal, and sounds real catchy. I think songs like this actually describe soilwork as how it is now. I know they used to make more agressive songs but hey, everybody changes over time.
I'm starting my exile, listening to this song 24/7.
I am in love with this song.
Greetings to the great and mighty Soilwork. Hails from your metal brethren in SONIQ ARMADA. Come back to Atlanta soon.
2008 was a great year, to be 18 is awesome
Тётке зачёт за старания)))🤟👍
omg i had to listen to this song so many time...
Soilwork is such a good band
Soilwork is not one of, but the best Metal Bands to come in the 2000's
What better way to start a Soilwork video than with an oprah winfrey commercial
The dog deffinately senses something wonderful with that Peavey half stack
I was just looking at Will Smiths bio and it said, "he is a huge fan of the Swedish well-known (but barely known in the U.S.) melodic heavy metal band Soilwork" I had to look them up, I am hooked, thanks guys!
I know this video is low quality, but every way I’ve listened to this album, including headphones, CD player, laptop, phone speakers... they all sound so messy. The production really puts a damper on this otherwise incredible album. I wish they’d re-record it, like a 2021 version
I like that they switched to the gold top and flying v for the guitar solo even though they didn't have to.
2022 still on my playlist
Because it's easier on the ears for a wider range of fans to enjoy.
this is a real band..god bless Soilwork,Lacuna Coil,Spineshank,Moonspell,Metallica,Korn etc.. hey god, give the key to them!!!!
They are good bands and need no blessings from your imagination. Oh and a point I feel I must make; were it up to fundamental christian values, bands like this would never be able to exist. So the irony of your God comments is not lost on me.
John Constantine God doesn't exist you dumb piece of shit.
stabbing the drama was def their best album \m/
Best song of Soilwork :D
i adore everything that reminds me of in flames(best band ever)... they rock :) amazing songs soilwork. keep it up
Great song from a great band. No more to be said.
one of the best melodic death metal bands
I see a lot of people say they don't like this album, but it's easily as good as the rest of them.
ahh this song gave me goosebumps
The Panic Broadcast is awesome!|!!
We love Soilwork..
Remastered video when?
Great song love working out to it!
I didn't know any work by Soilwork after Figure Number Five because I found that one a bit disappointing, probably because I had the stupid expectation of something as great as Natural Born Chaos, but I have to say I'm really enjoying this one. 2020 and here I am still thinking this is one of the most bizarre metal video ever made
I like how this video has the two quality options of viewing it through a microscope and a potato.
Шотенка в белом, ууууу ммммм❤❤❤😊

This lineup with Ola and Daniel on guitars was one of my all-time Soilwork's lineup! it's a shame that they don't continue anymore in the band
OMG! At 1:21 he stumbles and almost falls. Smooth man, smooth.
Bjorne was in a Motionless in White song! Awesome!!! I knew about soilwork before, I like both bands, so that's cool for me...
Chorus to this song is so epic
the first demotapes or albums of underground bands are always the best...wondering why? cause they didnt sign a label deal!
