  • These portlights are all the same on the Catalina 22s, 25s, 27s and 30s late models.
The gasket kit and caulk can be purchased at Catalinadirect.com.

I have a 1974 Pearson which uses the same style portlights.
Somewhere along the line I read something saying people with Pearsons were able to successfully use the Catalina resealing kits, and this is indeed the case.
I have not come upon a video that covers all these steps as well as you have here. Catalina direct should reference customers to your video to accompany the one page instruction sheet they provide with the kit.

Funny…about a week ago I have sent Catalina Direct the video, which they watched and responded, but I am not sure if they going to refer this video…

This was a huge PIA. Mostly just the part of trying to get a proper seal with the stripping around the glass on the corners...

just wondering for the window sealant inside the basket. Apply a lot or just a little ?

Apply “little”, just enough so it doesn’t ooooze out, because the clean up is messy. The space between the gasket and the glass is very thin especially once it’s pressed back into the aluminum frame. Most important is that it’s a continuous bead of sealant when applied.
