If we pay attention, lots of their songs is like this. After what happened, we look at it and seems really obvious, and I'm sure people close to him knew, but still it's really hard to deal with it. And yes, maybe there's a lot of emo bands that sing depressing stuff, but definitely Given Up is not like this kind of songs. It's really well written, and as the first guy said, if we look now, it's not simply made to look sad, it is actually really sad and full of emotions
It’s a fry scream. That technique doesn’t really use much air if done correctly. You can scream for as long as you can trickle air from your lungs. I used to be impressed with this scream until I learned the technique. Then you realize it’s actually really easy. Never meet your heroes I suppose
