HOW TO JOIN FRIENDS TUTORIAL (without a server):
1. Port forward 27017 (UDP) on your router settings and to your device (look up your router model name and google how to port forward).
2. Create an inbound Windows Firewall rule to permit UDP traffic on port 27017.
3. Now you should be able to HOST a game so get people to join your Radmin Network and get your friends to type /connect "your VPN IP":27017 in the console when you load a zombies map and it'll work! :)

I followed the tutorial but got an error message when i launched boiii that says it needs an active internet connection to launch it even though i am connected to the internet

BOIII was never given a cease and desist. Momo shut down the client preemptively due to the shutdown of XLabs.

He implemented a check for ownership, if you ask me IW4X wasn't shut down because it was a modded client, they were shut down because they not only allowed pirated clients but also gave a torrent file for the game out
It's why plutonium removed their torrent link and is talking about adding an ownership check

B03 not being safe and on top having to start over and not having all my stuff from my ps4 account made me not wanna play but with this client I can have everything I used to have and more. I downloaded the client put it in the bo3 folder but each time I try to load it up it says I need an active connection even tho I’m connected to the wifi. I even restarted my pc and it still isn’t working. Anyone know why ?

I installed this on my steam deck and I actually love it is sad how the community take care of older cods games instead of Activision taking action

How did you get it to run on the deck ? I've been trying to get it to work but i can't. Edit: I get an error saying it needs an internet connection for the first boot up even though I'm connected.

You need to add the bo3 client as a non steam game
Then use ge proton

Clarification: The RCE exploit was patched, this means the hackers cannot download stuff on your pc or check your files like before, so in that sense you are now safe, this was fixed because otherwise greedy Activision would've been forced to pull out the game from Steam and since they still sell these titles at full price because they are as greedy as a comic book villain, they only patched it because of that. THIS however doesn't mean it's all over, what Hackers can do is kick you from a game, even if you are solo, and ruin your gaming experience, not only that but apparently they could get your IP, now realistically speaking they will just do this to streamers and youtubers, however if you want to be extra safe this patch is for you!
@@tutizx The RCE exploit happened in other games as well and after it was reported to steam, steam was gonna pull away from the store those games, devs fixed it immediately, I suppose the same happened with BO3 and Activision
Having issues with running the client. Put the EXE in the BO3 folder, and whenever I run it, it gives me a "BOIII needs an active internet connection for the first time you launch it" error. Any help?

BTW FOR SERVERS PUT THE SERVER FILE INTO BOIII PLAYERS FILE THEM INTO USER FILE AND YOU WILL GET SERVERS

I seem to have run into a trouble launching the client. I downloaded it, put it into the bo3 program files and when I click on it to launch the client it says "BOIII needs active internet connection for the first time you launch it". I have wired connection to internet and I tried resetting it and things like that, but the problem remains. Can anybody help me figure out why is this happening?

There is no server browser anymore
Put the txt file into boiii_players > user.

t7 is a patch for common steam server vulnerabilities, boiii are dedicated 3rd party servers. hackers can still find new ways to get thru other steam server vulnerabilities, while itll be harder on the boiii client

The old boiii still works perfectly on cracked BO3. And it plays online through this VPN or Hamachi

P.S. although hackers can still remote crash people, especially streamers and youtubers so still use BOIII
