Doge is a meme coin so it's only real value is intrinsic. It doesn't have a function past being fiat. Things like Ethereum do because Ethereum is a service. So no dogecoin isn't tangible, but neither is US Fiat Dollar. It's a piece of paper backed by nothing. Whereas other cryptos, to use Ethereum as an example, provide a fee/service model.

@Gaussianform The dollar isn't real, it's a unbacked promissory note, same as doge basically. The difference is doge has a fixed supply, whereas the FED just prints money when they feel like it. Doge is a meme coin so it's only real value is intrinsic. It doesn't have a function past being fiat. Things like Ethereum do because Ethereum is a service. So no dogecoin isn't tangible, but neither is US Fiat Dollar. It's a piece of paper backed by nothing. Whereas other cryptos, to use Ethereum as an example, provide a fee/service model.
