You are a great teacher. I am just starting a new village now with a carnival being incorporated into it, and as I work on it, I can hear you in my ear telling me what to do to make it better. lol. Thanks.

Love your ideas!! Do you have to buy new cobblestone paper every year because it is glued down and probably rips every year? I am setting my village and train on a 4 by 8 board that will have to disassembled each yr. Thanks for your support!!!

Thank you!! Yes every year I set up a completely new layout and design. Half of my enjoyment of the Village is the building of it. There's simply no room in my dwelling to store it all, plus styrofoam is a favourite for rodents! 🐭 😩

@@TheasChristmasVillages oh, thanks thea, didn't know rodents went after the styrofoam. I was going to put down one inch foam insulation from home Depot. Didn't realize wroteins may make their tunnels through that. Also, in order to glue it down to the plywood I think I'm going to have to take off the silver coating on the 1-in 4x8 sheet of insulation. You have a great series, going to try to make those mountains that you created in earlier part of your series.

Beautiful village and I love your instructions. Q: Why is the train foam different? and waht kind of foam is it?

Hello, thank you for your kind words. The train is on track bed by woodland scenics, seen here:

It smooths out irregularities, which ensures a smoother ride for the train and absorbs any static the train might create.
