I've watched a few playthroughs of this hack, and Barb is the first person I've seen go back and find the car at the start. That's so cool, I had no idea it was there. Looking forward to watching your journey through this one.

He mentioned Celeste runners hypothetically playing the game and complaining about SMW’s physics.
I hadn’t played SMW since my childhood, and went to replay it on SNES after playing games like Celeste, Hollow Knight, etc. My immediate response was “omg, these physics feel like absolute 💩, how did I play this garbage?”
Modern platformers have such tight movement controls. Once you get used to it, SMW feels like ice skating (and when you’re actually in an ice level… 😵)
