Hello, all! I don't know why this one dropped during the premiere, but it's available to watch now in its entirety! We had a scheduling issue and it seems to have sabatoged it. We will have a new video on Wednesday at our usual 8pm eastern time and the chat should work properly then
@@TheAntiqueNomad hello George! Do you know much about antique / vintage marbles? I have a ton I am trying identify lol do you do paid services like this or know of anyone knowledgeable in marbles? Much love to ya! Love your content! Your know your antiques and have an awesome eye! 🙌🏻
@@Sarah_Black_Sheep_Unite there’s a video I did from white cloud, Kansas a few years ago, where a guy had a bunch and talked about them. You can see them in the Kansas playlist (see home page)
Oh yes the Barbie Camper! I put Barbie’s pink chiffon cape on my hamster Petey. He took a few rides sailing down the driveway behind the wheel. I was convinced he was having fun. I wish you could have that bamboo phone table! ❤️🐩
So nice meeting you and thank you for highlighting my space! This was my first ever in person show, so I greatly appreciate your kind comments about my booth! So glad you loved the bamboo phone chair as much as I do! It didn’t sell, which may be a sign to keep it 😌 Alaina (HammerBottRestor)
Oh my gosh- I absolutely love that vintage phone chair! If I had a place for it, I would be buying it. It would be perfect in my boho-inspired apartment! 😊
@alainahammer1013 hello a hammer you are with the bestest yt group in this whole world 🌎 enjoy ever minute you have with them goes by sooo fast luv all
Thank you George for wearing and sharing my SJFD hat. I sold the Antique Seed Catalogs at this show. It was great getting to meet you for first time. Hope to see you in October at the next show. Renie’s Treasure Trove
Hey George! I knew you'd fix the video. Wow... the outdoor vendors are awesome! Such a tease holding the inside videos back lol. It will be interesting to compare t he vendors at the October show as well. Thanks for bringing us along. We know you would get time to shop if you weren't recording for us. ❤❤❤😊
I have the GE version with all the parts & the cord of that 1930s electric coffee pot. Super cool! I was thinking of making a fast time lapse video of it making coffee.
Hi George! Another great video! I really enjoyed meeting you at this show! The road trip from Wisconsin was well worth it and I love all my found treasures including my head vase pin cushion I showed you. Hope to find you at Springfield in September.
I was so pleased you came so far and that it was fun and worthwhile for you! It was wonderful to meet you and I'll be in Space #301 by the Dog Pavilion under a big tree at Springfield.
Hello George. I just received your book today. Oh wow. It's fantastic. At least now I can keep my eye out for treasure craft items. I watch all your videos. So much information and knowledge you pass along .
Good morning, George. Well, I got almost four hours sleep, so I'm watching after-the-fact. The Irish piece, at 1:05, really caught my eye. Was it Belleek? I _really_ liked it. Loved the seed catalog! The tramp art styling was really appealing. I'd have use for something like that, too. The French Boulle clock would look fantastic on a mantle! I'd like to know what it sounds like when it chimes. Wow! I was surprised to see the Union 76 button signs. Union 76 and Mobil Oil are the two petrol items I like, but I _never_ see the Union 76 items...kind of like vintage Dr Pepper items. Some of the items you featured truly make me realise how you can be in the business you are...and I never could be 😂 For the most part, for me, Queen Victoria is still on the throne 😏😅 I do like the monkey pod wood items, and did even when they were new...yes, I can remember them being new 🙃 That would be a great outdoor market to shop! Thanks for taking us along!
@@CONSTELLATION_PEGASUS I like that piece but think it’s Donegal porcelain from Ireland. The seed catalog was great and I’m not surprised they sold it! The color of the Boulle clock was especially nice I thought. I like 76 stuff too, they and Gulf had that distinctive color scheme. I have personal favorites but have learned to appreciate collectibles of all varieties, it makes this a fun world!
@@TheAntiqueNomad That Donegal piece having the Celtic/Gaelic language on it is something I really liked about it. I'm sure whoever bought the seed catalog is really proud to own it. That was a nice one, for sure! Do you see much Union 76 stuff? Out of all the premiers and videos I've seen of yours, I think this is the first time I've seen any of it. If I were in the reselling business, I might learn to recognise the value of some of the collectibles that aren't my aesthetic, but appreciate them...not too sure about that 😅
I miss the old Portland Expo. I used to go every summer when all three buildings were full and the outside was full as well. We were at Shipwreck last weekend, July 20. So fun and much better than Packwood.
I am so bummed I missed the market this year. I ended up having my grandson for the weekend & he isn’t a good shopper (he has autism). I am going to make sure nothing keeps me away next year! I am excited to watch the video now! 😊
Good evening, George. I'll have to catch this one after-the-fact. Only an hour and a half sleep last night...I'll be out like a light when this one premiers.
2:27- I have 2 Elton Bennett lithographs (I believe). I inherited them from my mom & dad. I know his daughter is still alive & lives in the Grays Harbor, WA area, or at least the last time I checked.
@@TheAntiqueNomad that’s really neat you are familiar with Elton Bennett. My great-grandfather was an oil artist in Grays Harbor & knew Elton. I need to get ahold of his daughter & see if she can give me an appraisal on the 2 I have. They are framed behind non-glare glass, which I know lowers their value, but I am not worried about their monetary value, as their sentimental value is huge to me! 😊
Hello, I am new to your channel, started watching about a month ago. I am also new to reselling as of January 2024. My day job is a archives manager at our county archives & museum, so I really love history and old stuff! I resell as a hobby. I love the idea of finding old stuff for very little money, researching it and then selling it for a profit. Right now I am reselling a variety of stuff but my ultimate goal is to sell books, magazines and especially paper ephemera. Have you done any videos about sources or selling paper ephemera that you give give me the links to watch? Thanks! Love your channel! By the way, I live in Tennessee Ridge, Tennessee, not too terribly far from you.
@@melissabarker2128 How fun! I really love paper ephemera because it covers a little of everything else. I did a very early video about ephemera and another about postcards, both later 2019- early 2020 in the Washington playlists (go to Videos on my homepage and you’ll find them)
I went there expressly to see your booth on Saturday and never was able to find it. So disappointed!! How do we know where to find you? I did wind up buying some cool stuff from the indoor vendors so had a good time. Been watching your channel for a long time, guess I don't know where you post info about your booths. Couldn't find it on any of your connected websites.....

Hello 🥰🥰🥰🥰
If the prices are so much cheaper outside, does that hurt the antique dealers inside?
Not really, it's different kinds of merchandise inside for the most part. Plus prices were not super bargain, more like fair for what the items were
