I feel like Ben Clymer is an actual watch enthusiast and collector who got way out over his skis on the business side. Hodinkee seemed to be right on track until they decided to branch out into all the lifestyle and fashion stuff. The bell tolled for them when Jack saw the writing on the wall and bailed out.

I applaud Clymer by getting his $$$$ share. I will think over $25 from the $40+mm that was invested on Hodinkee. Then they kick him as CEO into the most decorated position of Chair. So as a businessman he could not have done better. Now he is back, probably well paid by the mothership trying to right the ship.

So many of us have metaphorically bought the travel clock. It's just that we wear them on our wrists.

John Mayer was a Hodinkee investor, being chummy with Ben Clymer. I wonder how much he lost?

I'm worried that Time & Tide might have taken too much inspiration from Hodinkee and are following them down the same path. Stay small, stay focussed, and keep overheads down.

Can anyone guess the tie-in to the latest UFO/UAP disclosure news?

Some of the downfall of Hoodinkee is down to the extreme unlike-ability of the main players.Jack Whossisname was a smug woke clown who made me grind my teeth & Ben Clymer the sort of mid guy who had no presence or cred on the screen or in print. I've worked in the fashion industry & they embodied the sort of pretentious metropolitan eliteism that I fled London to avoid.
Bless Marie Claire would be thrilled to be called "high fashion"😂 Great stream, I'll catch it live next time.

@Yorkiepoocharliewhat does someone’s net worth have to do with their ability to make a personal judgement, based on experience and perception? 🤡

Christopher Ward is a watch brand (and also an actual person how founded that brand) look it up. They make some of the best watches in the sub 2k price range. So actually bang on topic of a watch show and also I just taught you something about the watch industry, even more on theme!
