after he passed away Bob Ross was employed by god to paint all the beautiful sunsets for us :) everytime i see a beautiful sunrise/sunset/mountain etc... i think of him

I feel like people talk a lot about how calm and soothing Bob is, but it’s just as cool that because of that, these comment sections are so positive and happy. Every time I watch a vid (like basically every day, just to decompress) I scroll through the comments sometimes while listening to Bob. It’s even more heartwarming to read all the nice things everyone is saying down here.
Bob literally has no haters, and the minimum dislikes for a big channel. Even after death, bobs contagious happiness lives on :)

Unfortunately that's literally not true. I've heard of art instructors saying that he isn't a true artist, and they're losers and I would never take an art class from an instructor who would say such a thing.
If Bob would know how famous he got. Here in Germany so many many people want to see him painting! Unbelievable!

Man I sure do love the way he says "The Lay of the Land" .....like it's a title of a great book or something.... I remember watching him before I was 10 ....so like 84-85....I was lucky to be there in the beginning or close to it at least.
Not much of a painter, but I'm a musician. Bob Ross's inspiration truly spans all disciplines and art forms. He gave me the bravery test to put huge trees and the tasteful approach to put happy little ones in my music. Clouds too.
Such a lovely man, wish so much he had not passed . I would have loved to meet him, so creative.

Everyone.. go to a store like hobby lobby or even walmart. Buy some cheep brushes and a canvas and follow along with Bob. You will be amazed at what talent is actually inside of you. I've done 15 paintings so far and each one gets better and better.
